Just peel both sides, plug in and go! I cannot speak on if it has caught any flying insects yet as the cold weather is still upon us and the flying insects are very minimal. I will say I am happy with the brightness of this and can use it as a secondary night light for the kitchen. Dual uses are always great!!

What I like about the Stem brand insect light trap is it does exactly what it says it does. It's also a very attractive looking modern design with a nice blue light and it does not take up much space. I also like that it says it's people and pet friendly with no insecticides. It actually works really great! What I didn't like is it's a little bit pricey and it requires a refillable sticky trap that is called a dual sided cartridge that you have to buy when the first one is full of dead bugs. But it's well designed and effective.
