I placed it in several locations, like the kitchen, living room, and near the trash can. Unfortunately, it did not catch any insects. It's more like a night light than an insect trap. Even with the refill, it didn't seem to attract or trap anything. I tried different orientations in various outlets, but it still didn't work. Very disappointed with the results, as I expected it to be more effective.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Use in any room where you see flying insects. For household use only. Remove the protective peels on both sides of the refill. Insert the refill into the device base. Plug the trap into a wall socket near common insect hangouts. The trap should be positioned upright. When blue light is on, it starts to work. Keep the trap plugged in 24/7. When full, unplug the trap and replace with a new refill. For Best Results: Place traps in areas with heavy flying insect activity and keep plugged in 24/7. Replace cartridge when its full of insects. Check refill often and dispose of it when the cartridge is full of insects. Replace refill every 14 days for best performance.

I've been using stem products for a of couple years now with good results so I figured now was the time to get it. I know it's not bug season yet but I figured this would serve as a dry run. I hooked it up and checked it a few hours later. To my surprise there were a couple insects stuck already. I hadn't even seen them in the house! Now I can't wait to see how well it'll work in the summer. Watch out flying insects!
