Just a few hours after plugging it in, I started seeing results. It does a great job of attracting and catching fruit flies and other small bugs. The soft blue light isn’t too bright, so it works well in the kitchen or near the trash without being annoying. If you have trouble with fruit flies, this is an easy, effective, and chemical-free way to get rid of them. I highly recommend it!

I bought this to put near my Guinea pig cage for fruit flys that like to congregate. It works great! It's also very discrete and look just like a night light! Very easy to set up and use.

This item is very easy assemble and the instructions have great clarity on how to insert the trap and set it up. When plugged in, the trap has a nice illuminated light that does a good job as a night light as well. I've used this product throughout all seasons and it never fails to catch house flies and the most annoying insects in your house.

As a fan of STEM products (our household enjoys their line of all natural insecticides), was excited to try the STEM light trap. It did not disappoint! The trap emits a soft, subtle light which is not distracting even when the room is completely dark. The design is simple and after the first 8 hours it had begun to "trap" moths we have been battling in one of our closets. Looking forward to seeing how it performs over its full 14 day "best results" timeframe, but so far we have seen results! Note that the plug-in should be upright, so you will need to find a spot which can accommodate this orientation, but it is simple to assemble and gets right to work!!

The counter where we keep the bananas & the area where we serve our cats their canned cat food. I was impressed to see the fruit flies attracted to the blue light and being trapped by the sticky blue insert. Such an easy way to trap flying insects ! The way this light is designed you will not have to look at the flying insects trapped until you are changing to a new insert refill. The blue insert is sticky on both sides so you get dusk action. The opaque plastic shield allows this to be used as a night light. I enjoy this as a night light in my kitchen . This is a really creative product which does a great job at solving the annoying fruit flies hanging out in your home.

Another plus is that there are no chemical sprays to harm pets or people. You just plug it in and let the flies get stuck on the sticky surface.

There is no smell and the blue light attracted the gnats and mosquitoes that managed to get into my house . Once in the trap they were stuck. I recommend this product to everyone.
