We live next to an empty lot that floods often, causing quite a few mosquitoes and small bugs. I put this in my kitchen and it has worked great! Within a few hours, it caught several little bugs. I plan to buy another to put on the other end of the house. Great alternative to chemical sprays and it doesn't affect my cats.

It emits a beautiful periwinkle blue color and attracts the bugs. Photos include on with lights on and another in the dark. It can be a great nightlight for a hallway for visual guidance or for the student!

It is nice for use in in the kitchen as it doesn't look like a traditional trap and hides the bugs from veiw. the paper seems sticky and looks like it should work well. What an effortless way to catch flying insects such as gnats, fruit flies, moths & more. Just plug in the Stem unit & the soft blue light lures the flying insects to the units sticking trap. The sticky insert catches the flying insect on both sides of the blue insert card. The flying insects are caught but the unit still looks attractive because of the units very smart design. The Stem unit has an attractive design that works really well . So bring home those bananas & know that your counter will be fruit fly free.

The refill just slides right in and I expect will trap well with two sticky sides exposed. The light is bright enough to attract gnats which is my issue, but not too bright to be distracting. I think I am going to like having it as an additional nightlight
