I do have a problem with fungus gnats so this product is very helpful for me. It's easy to install and catches many flying bugs. May not be needed for some but for me it always is or l always have fruit flies in the fall as well. I would buy refills in future as you only need the device the first time. It does get unsightly if you don't change it out regularly as you can see the bugs stuck on it.

I like that the light is bright enough but still soft and subtle. I was hoping it would be smaller. This is easy to set up, plug in and go. I really like that the STEM Flying Insects Light Trap has a double-sided sticky trap (and it's really sticky!). It also has a small square cutout on the sticky trap where it clicks in securely, unlike other brands which may allow the sticky part to fall out. Additionally, this light trap has a rotating two-prong plug, so it can go into outlets that are upright or sideways on the wall! I haven't seen that in any other similar products.

I think it does an ok job of capturing insects, but it mostly caught fruit flies in the 7+ hours that I've had it plugged in. It seems comparable to Raid Essentials' Light Trap. I, however, don't like that you're able to see the bugs that become trapped. Nonetheless, it's still a good product but just needs a bit of improvement in my opinion.

It was super simple to set up, but it's much larger than I thought it would be. It looks a bit awkward and would be better suited for outside, but gets the job done.

The "trap paper" is super sticky and double sided, which is sure to trap all those little fruit flies and all. This item is very similar in size, color, and design as other light traps and is comparable in price.
