I have a bunch of fruit flies in the house and within a couple hours of setting this light trap up, I noticed a few had already been caught. They also sell replacement traps for the plug, which will be great once this one is full of flies. Easy way to eliminate bugs from the house.

The STEM Flying Insect Light Trap is straight-forward and easy to use: basically peel the protective sheet of the trap, plop it into the device, and plug it in. That's it. It has no smell at all, and the soft, blue glow is the only clue that it's even there. The trap is extremely sticky and fruit cannot escape. I would like for the blue re-fill trap to fit a bit more snuggly into its slot, but it has not ever fallen or been bumped out of place when plugged in. I look forward to using this light trap in summer months to see its effectiveness when we have garden-fresh fruits and vegetables.

This was very easy to set up and within minutes it had caught 3 fruit flies! I can’t get over how well this works, especially since it’s safe to use as long as your animals can’t reach it. I have used this in the kitchen and in the bathroom, it completely cut down on the fruit flies in the house! I love it! I will always use this brand for my insect treatments, it works well!

The directions were straight forward but really someone could figure it out without directions. It's a strong stick so I would recommend if you have small children that you place it in an outlet out of their reach because it not only attracts flying insects but also small children. They are attracted to the light and then get random items stuck. Seems to do its job.

The soft blue light works great as a nightlight and isn't a distraction. The film is very sticky so the bugs will definitely stick right to it. It will make the perfect night light to stay plugged in consistently and catch the small bugs that are in the house such as gnats and fruit flies. It sort of reminds me of summer mornings. The bugs get too attached. Literally. Both sides of the trap are sticky. So, yes, it works. The only downside is remembering to buy refills of the stickers.

I currently have it in the kitchen and it does attract some flying gnats etc. There are still some that sneak past but it does a decent job.
