We've tried so many ways to get rid of them- the vinegar traps haven't worked at all. I plugged this in for an hour and it's already caught a bunch of them. Definitely very happy with this product.

The trap is sticky on both sides which allows it to catch more insects and you don't have to replace it as much. I plugged in the light trap in my kitchen which is close to the back door where crane flies like to hang out. The trap quickly attracted the crane flies and they were able to stick on top of one another since the trap is very sticky.

My main concern is my fur babies, and this claims to be pet friendly, with no insecticides. I love that it doubles as a night light. As far as effectiveness, I have one little fly after about 6 hours.. we will see if any more come!!

You first take it out the box and take the refill and put it in the slot on the main device and plug it in. The refill is sticky so it was able to keep the bugs stuck onto the refill.
