Great value

I bought this over a year ago.  AS a previous comment stated, you have to reload it to factory settings constantly.  It is the worst HP I have ever owned.  My pavillion is 5 years old with EXTENSIVE usage.  This one is so bad I rarely turn it on....and when I do I start from scratch!  IT IS BAD!!!  Do not touch this product!!

LOUD and has never worked

Love this computer!!

This is a great laptop and I bought 2 of them, one for my teenager daughter and one for myself. Overall is great but is VERY fragile. First my daughter dropped and the hinges and monitor broke making it unasable. Then I dropped mine and same thing the hinges fell appart and now I can not use it either.

very fragile

I had a laptop with the same features and was faster than this one is. The fan is too loud, annoying noise. Looks beautiful but the edges are too sharp so it's really uncomfortable as a laptop. It hurt your legs just with minutes on your lap.

Not so great, LOUD, not for your Lap

after numerous hours on line and on phone with tech experts, unable to get microphone to work with voice recorder even though the troubleshoot said nothing was wrong. Even after reuploading BIOS and Windows 10, the microphone was inaccessible.  Thank God for Sam's Club which took the computer back without a hitch.  No more HP for me!

Microphone issues

I was doing A LOT of research to invest in the right laptop.  It came down between the i5 and i7 processor.  Since the i7 processor was narrowly faster than the i5, I felt confident in purchasing this HP.  It has not failed to impress me.  It boots up fast and I get to my tasks or apps right away.  My budget was $500, but I was only going to get an i3. The extra money was worth it.  This is my 1st Pavilion, although I've had other HP's in the past, and I doubt I'll ever go back to a "standard" model.  It's lightweight and I love the finish.   I use my laptop to pay bills and use spreadsheets, word docs, write emails, and play FB games all at once, there's no lag.  This is a great laptop to invest in.
