[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use dry shampoo when I’m trying to extend my style during the work week. I was excited to try a brunette dry shampoo, because the white cast from typical dry shampoo still leaves some kind of deposit. The spray is very strong on this and leaves quite a fragrance behind. It leaves a brown cast which blended in seamlessly after fluffing my hair. And it made my hair less oily. I’d definitely either try this version or “dark brunette” next time.

Dry shampoo is literally my life savor but since I'm a brunette, almost all of the ones I've used would always leave the white powder in my hair no matter how many times I would try to massage it into my hair. When I found this product and noticed that it's the "#1 dry shampoo" and it was for people with brown hair like me, I decided to give it a try. First time using it, I was disappointed. Not only did the brown powder get all over my hands while trying to massage it into my hair and made a mess in my bathroom (it got all around my sink and wall), it made my hair feel dirtier, dry, and a little knotty. It even made my scalp itch. Whenever I would scratch it, the brown powder would get on my hands and under my fingernails. Don't listen to the 5 star ratings, this dry shampoo is junk! DO NOT BUY!

I’ve used many different dry shampoos and this is now my every time go to. The brunette dry shampoo smells so freaking good and leaves my hair looking like it did the day I washed it. It’s the best. I also love being able to smell it all day! It last!!!!

I bought this last week as it sounded perfect. My hair colour is medium brunette, and so I thought the colour depositing would match my hair. Not even close. Should be advertised as for 'dark grey hair' Did leave my hair feeling clean as the batiste products generally do, but disappointed at how inaccurate the colour discription is.

I am so seriously disappointed that the red was discontinued! Seriously, it's hard enough to find any products for redheads let alone a good product! I am a natural dark auburn, my one daughter is a true ginger and my other is a light auburn. Taking away the only product that works for all of us is like saying we don't matter. I really hope these reviews are seen and redheads will stop being excluded.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The smell is pleasant, not too overwhelming. The brown tint is nice to better blend with my soft black hair than a white powder. Although not a perfect match it still works well. As a dry shampoo it wasn’t anything special though.

It allows me to easily extend my time between washing, which helps keep my hair healthier. I love that the shampoo adds a light amount of grit to my hair, helping it hold style while keeping my roots and looking fluffy, light, and dry. The added benefit of the brunette dry shampoo is that it doesn’t leave my dark hair looking lighter than normal. It’s the best on the market for brunettes!

I bought this product because it is for brown hair, but it leaves a grey layer on my hair which looks terrible. I have followed all the instructions on the bottle, so my only conclusion is that it is definately not worth the money unless you are looking for a dry shampoo for grey hair.

Unfortunately since the formula has changed - my hair doesn't feel right. Its not like the older versions the silver bottles. Why the formula was changed is a disappointment. I will now have to look for another brand. Also beware when you go and buy this make sure you check the ingredients - I have compared from the old versions vs new. Too bad I really loved the old formula it was great. and I am hearing more and more people saying the same things.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a pretty good dry shampoo, especially considering the price point when compared to other non-drugstore dry shampoos. It has a beautiful scent, I think that was my favourite part of this product. It is a brilliant idea to offer coloured dry shampoos, because whereas dry shampoos are a must have for those of us with extremely oily hair, no one enjoys the white residue on dark hair. The powder in this dry shampoo is slightly tinted and it does hide better then white residue. It works decently to freshen hair especially with the scent, the reduction of oiliness is a little less effective. The only issue I had was with the sprayer; I don’t know if I just picked up a defective bottle but it when I spray it, it continues to spray even after letting go of the nozzle. I would purchase this product again, as it does work decently and smells great.
