I got the original as a gift - loved it! I went to buy more and bought the brunette color. It doesn’t leave my hair looking gray on top and doesn’t have the weird smell like most dry shampoo. This is the first time I’m buying the same dry shampoo brand more than once!

Dry shampoo is literally my life savor but since I'm a brunette, almost all of the ones I've used would always leave the white powder in my hair no matter how many times I would try to massage it into my hair. When I found this product and noticed that it's the "#1 dry shampoo" and it was for people with brown hair like me, I decided to give it a try. First time using it, I was disappointed. Not only did the brown powder get all over my hands while trying to massage it into my hair and made a mess in my bathroom (it got all around my sink and wall), it made my hair feel dirtier, dry, and a little knotty. It even made my scalp itch. Whenever I would scratch it, the brown powder would get on my hands and under my fingernails. Don't listen to the 5 star ratings, this dry shampoo is junk! DO NOT BUY!

My hairdresser recommended the batiste beautiful brunette as I am attempting to go lighter due to premature gray hair:( well It totally leaves a gray residue and my husband was making fun of me and calling me names because of it:( I’m going to try the darker shade next time and hope that it’s not too dark, just wish I hadn’t wasted my money on this can:(

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The smell is pleasant, not too overwhelming. The brown tint is nice to better blend with my soft black hair than a white powder. Although not a perfect match it still works well. As a dry shampoo it wasn’t anything special though.

The first thing I noticed was the strong scent it had. This products smells a lot like hairspray, which I don’t enjoy. The spray is very powerful and the product comes out fast. I did notice it gave me some volume immediately after use, but not for a long period of time. It did what a dry shampoo is supposed to do, which is refresh greasy hair. My before was about 4 days since I washed my hair and this products helped give it a refresh.

This is specifically for brunette hair, as it has a hint of color. The hint of color did not stain my hands or my brush. Overall, this product preforms well.

I bought this last week as it sounded perfect. My hair colour is medium brunette, and so I thought the colour depositing would match my hair. Not even close. Should be advertised as for 'dark grey hair' Did leave my hair feeling clean as the batiste products generally do, but disappointed at how inaccurate the colour discription is.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has a very nice and rich scent, I really liked it. It leaves a little bit of a brown residue, I think. At first you can see a little white in your hair, but it takes a few seconds to disappear. Your hair has increased volume, which makes it more manageable. Lastly, most importantly, it takes away the greasy look of your hair! Which I love for those days when I need to go out quickly and want to wear it down.

I used to use regular Batiste dry shampoo and with my ombre, my hair looked chalky. Then I discovered this stuff, which totally saved me. I can go up to three days without washing (could probably go longer but the thought makes me icky). There is no white chalky residue. The slight brown tint does not go all over my scalp or hands, like I've read in other reviews. AND it smells so good! I would absolutely recommend and definitely buy again.

It smells good and the color fits perfectly on my dark hair. No white residues too. I took a star off because I feel like it rubs off easily
