Color is not very appealing- but it’s sunflower seeds so what other color would it be?! I used it on toast and really liked it. I am going to try it in a cookie recipe and see how it goes. This is a new to me product so it will be fun to try out some new recipes to share with a friend who is nut-free. Will be interesting to see how the runny consistency affects baking.

I find this product to be quite expensive so not sure that I would purchase it regularly.

But when I managed to try something new, sunflower seed butter, I was rewarded. I’m not giving up on peanut butter, but have found the addition of sunflower seed butter was worth the test of something new.

The peanut butter I buy is just peanuts and salt so I feel like I’d be happy to buy this without the sugar too. I now see that’s an option, but it wasn’t at my store.
