Wow, I bought this pitcher primarily for ice tea but it’s completely unsuitable for any initially hot liquid. The box says suitable for cold beverages but does not say completely unsuitable for hot beverages. First use, the pitcher broke into three large pieces scalding me with boiling water to make the tea. My advice is to make any hot beverage in a different container and let cool if you intend to use it for that purpose.
