Nectar mattress has been a great investment because it's so comfortable. Even though it's a memory foam mattress, it is still firm, but not too firm. That is what I needed. But then her parents got a nectar for their guest bedroom, and we couldn't stop talking about it after spending a night at their place. It was firm but soft, didn't transfer motion (which we couldn't believe), and both of us woke up with less joint pain we were used to feeling in the morning. So when they went on sale, we pulled the trigger and have been loving it for the past two months. Highly recommend the king. As a side sleeper with hyper mobility I am very picky about what I sleep on because I easily get joint pain. I have had no pain and its actually felt like my body can relax without being pulled apart. Highly recommend and my sister actually ended up purchasing the same mattress a few weeks after me!

But I would like to see low slip preventing rails on the side of the bed frame like the one at the foot of the frame. My mattress seems to ignore the little slip disc's and wants to slide off the frame. Good thing I dont move much at night or I would find myself on the floor. Its annoying to have to get up and slide the mattress back to the frame.

It’s just a regular mattress that has no memory of where I was laying, and is instantly a rectangular foam thing that instant I get off of it. It is adequately comfortable, although I find that my hips get sore on some nights.

I have purchased a mattress topper of 4 inches to see if it will help soften this hard as a rock mattress. If you can do firm then I would guess it would be worth the money. Me not so much.
