The pods themselves have a firm compact texture with a smooth outer coating, the dishes came out clean and the pods dissolve completely without leaving any residue.

I normally use a competing brand but these honestly did a better job of producing clean dishes without residue or grime. Very simple to use, not messy at all. The value is good considering how well they clean dishes, even those with stuck-on grime from the night's dinner.
