Some dishes it did leave a chemical smell almost like it wasn't rinse enough so not sure if it's the pods or the machine. Regardless the smell isn't something pleasing on dishes you eat off of. It dissolved well no residue left in the compartment like some brands.

Just popping one in the slot in my dishwasher and I don’t ever need to worry about pre-rinsing or anything! Before reviewing, I made sure to use at least 10 of these pods before really judging the product. I put the pods on my favorite cycle and let the pods work their magic. After the cycle was finished, I oped my dishwasher to the smell of a warm mist of cleanly aroma —which is rare— which immediately let me know that I wouldn’t be disappointed. After inspecting my dishes, there didn’t seem to be any type of left over residue from the pods or left over food particles. When I say my dishes were CLEAN, they were pristine!

I like the scents , like the formula of it . Also how clean the dishes are after every use and how nothing is left on the dishes after every wash . Love love love it , really recommend .
