However, my husband loves it!! This is the only brand of body wash he uses. If you don’t suffer from chronic dry skin, this is perfect for you!

It hits with that rugged, masculine scent; a mix of cedarwood with a fresh twist (there’s a lime or something bright underneath) so it doesn’t smell like straight heavy woods. It gives off confidence vibes, like walking out of the shower already feeling put together. In the shower, it lathers up nicely; dense foam, slippery enough so it spreads well. It doesn’t feel like you need a huge glob; a small amount covers more than you’d expect, so the bottle should last a good while. Rinsing off, it doesn’t leave that tight, squeaky clean feeling (which some people hate) but instead you come out feeling clean and moisturized enough. His skin after was smooth; no dryness or anything thatched. Now, on the flip side; the scent doesn’t last all day. Morning, mid-morning; yes, you can still catch whiffs of it if you move close. But by evening, or after working up a sweat, it’s pretty muted. It’s not bad, just not overpowering either; so if he likes to smell strong all day, he might have to reapply or pair with a stronger cologne. Also, if you live somewhere hot/humid (or post-gym), the fragrance does shift. I noticed a slight change when he was sweaty; still good, but not as crisp. And for sensitive skin, I didn’t see any irritation on him, but I didn’t test it on particularly sensitive spots, so that’s something to keep in mind. Bottom line: It’s a solid body wash; smells great, feels good, does what a body wash should do without drama. If I were buying something for him, I’d say go for it. Just know you’ve got to manage expectations on scent-longevity. If you want something that lingers more aggressively, there are other options, but for everyday use and value, this one’s a win.
