So this tastes nothing like your classic Helmans obviously but it tastes better & is cheaper than any of the other avocado oil mayos out there. I bought 3. I love it for making salad dressings, dips & sauces, for potato salad, chicken salad - but love it less for just spreading on a sandwich. It’s fab for anything you’re seasoning heavily. I’m super picky about mayo though & usually make my own!

Good flavor and consistency. And no bad oils!

I've been making chicken salad and egg salad all week using this mayonnaise and it's perfect. People need to compare this to other pure avocado mayonnaise for a real comparison. You can't compare it to a traditional mayo because obviously it's not the same. You either eat the junk oil mayos or you don't. This is the mayo I've been waiting for. I kept hoping that one of the big brands would make a pure avocado mayo instead of mixing it with seed oils. I hate spending $9 for a tiny jar of the fancy health brands avocado mayo. Some tastes better than others but I will only be buying Hellmann's from now on. It is truly my favorite. I don't get any sort of lime flavor when using it as an ingredient. Obviously if you take a taste by itself, it tastes a little strange compared to a traditional mayo. But who does that? As an ingredient, in things like chicken salad, it works perfectly. I applaud Hellmann's for bring the first big name brand to take this step. It's nice to be able to buy a large jar of mayo again and getting so much more value than those tiny jars of the expensive brands, that honestly don't all taste that good.

Love avocado mayo and always liked Hellmans but price is a little outrageous. I understand better quality food is more expensive but I think the price is still too high for a condiment

So pleased to find an avocado oil mayo! Read the ingredients and find it is 100% avocado oil! It tastes incredible.

Finally a more affordable avocado oil mayo! I was concerned based on the ingredients that it would have a lime flavor, but it does not. Now does it taste like the seed oil based mayos…no, it is something you have to adjust to. But I’ve been using avocado oil mayo for years now and this is one of the better flavored ones. It’s about 1/3 of the price per ounce of what I usually pay. I’m so happy Sam’s started carrying this and hope it stays forever! This is now my go-to mayo!

It's an alright mayo. We usually pay an arm and a leg for the other "real" avocado oil mayos, since most do the usual junk oils with a tiny bit of avocado. This one is entirely avocado oil, then the usual mayo ingredients. The taste is alright, it isn't quite as tangy as we like it, and the oil does have a slight "old oil" taste, but given the health benefits and the price, we will still continue using it.

Please do not waste your money. I appreciate what they're trying to do here with the clean ingredients, but this is not good at all. I honestly don't know how anyone is giving this four and five stars. I have 2 stars simply for the ingredients and effort, but this is disgusting. I was hoping I found a good, affordable convenient alternative to making my own mayo, but no. It's not the avocado oil, because when I make my own mayonnaise I use avocado oil, lemon juice, white vinegar, and egg and it tastes just fine. Maybe it's because they only use the egg yolk. I can't even explain what it tastes like. It's just terrible. Almost like rancid eggs. I made ranch dressing with it hoping I could at least salvage it that way, but that was not the case. That rancid flavor still comes through. I'm perplexed as to how this made it to store shelves and past focus groups. It really is that terrible. It's thick and creamy and that's where it all ends for me. Definitely not purchasing this never again.

We were so excited about trying this new avocado-based mayo, since we love Country Crock's plant butter with avocado. But after tasting just one "bite", we immediately took it back to Sam's for a refund. It was absolutely disgusting! I know I shouldn't "yuck your yum", so taste it for yourself. Just beware: TASTE IT BEFORE YOU USE IT, so you don't (potentially) mess up your sandwich/salad/etc.

The flavor is horrendous. Bitter, sour, and somehow makes your mouth feel...dry? I was excited about this, but I regretted the purchase after a single taste. Bleh.
