It is used in conjunction with your laundry detergent. It is most effective during the rinse cycle while soaking for 16 minutes. Please add the sanitizer directly to the rinse cycle, or to the fabric softener compartment. If the machine is a front loader and locks during the cycle, then unfortunately the product cannot be used.
