If you are impressed by Lysol's anti-bacterial properties there is an alternative solution available in a much less costly product.   It is called white vinegar.  It also helps soften your clothes and does not have the clothes.damaging effect that the Lysol has.

Overpriced considering alternatives

This product has completely transformed my laundry routine! I've always struggled with that persistent, musty smell in workout clothes, towels, and even bedding, no matter how much detergent or fabric softener I used. The Lysol Laundry Sanitizer Additive was the solution I had been searching for.

Using it is incredibly simple—you just add it to the fabric softener dispenser after your detergent, and it goes to work in the rinse cycle. The difference is night and day.
