After reading all the reviews, I decided to give it a try. I purchased 4 months worth (4 bottles) from a local pharmacy. I followed the instructions religiously, never missing an application over that 4 month period. Nothing. No improvement whatsoever. I had a doctor's appointment at the end of 3 months to see if there could be another problem, but nothing showed up. I decided to give it another try, so I ordered the 4 month supply. Three months into it, for a total of 7 months, and nothing. Guess I'm just one of the unlucky 10%. Waste of money.

So the picture on the left was taken last year in December and I didn’t start rogaine until March. The first pic sent me into a spiral and I’ve cried so many tears about my thinning hair! If you’re feeling hopeless like me, go to your dermatologist and ask them about hairloss. It could be hormonal, genetic, stress induced, etc. Along with using rogaine I was prescribed Spironolactone which also helps with hairloss. Just make sure you talk to your doctor before doing anything drastic. But rogaine works people! Just be patient and consistent.

I initially saw some growth after a four month period of use, but then i stopped using the product for three months and my hair started back thinning. Now i am going to start back using rogaine.I was satisfied with the growth i did see. I did notice my sinus problems cleared when i stopped using rogaine for the three months. when i start back using it i will take note if the sinus starts back up.

I don't know why I'm surprised by this, but this stuff appears to work. And the only reason I sound less than completely enthusiastic has nothing to do with the product and everything to do with me. I'm averaging probably 1x/day on this, which means I'm barely giving it a fighting chance to work. And yet, it appears to be working in spite of me. I've used it now for about 5 months, and I can honestly see a difference. I can't imagine how much better it would work if I actually used it as directed. But there you go.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the rogaine foam and it made my hair much thicker. I no longer feel so self conscious about my thinning hair. I would reccomend this product to any man who wants to regain his youthful hair.

The product works! After 3 weeks, I definitely noticed thicker hair. I’m sure it’s from less hair falling out on a daily basis. The problem for me started around week 4. My ears started to turn red and itch. Then my forehead started turning red a few days later and tiny bumps formed on my ears. Then my cheeks stared turning red. This seemed like a chemical burn/rash/allergic reaction. I stopped using the product. It took 2 weeks for the itching, redness, then dry skin on my ears to normalize. I now use a product in pill form issued by a local dermatologist. No prescription needed.
