The taste is a nice chocolate but not too dark or too sweet, just right. It has a similar taste to the Fairlife shakes if you are familiar with those. The only downside to these the 200 calories to 33g protein ratio, typically I look for a 10:2 ratio of calories to protein. What this lacks in efficient macros it makes up for in taste though. The smooth texture plus creamy chocolate shake is exactly what I search for in a pre packaged drink. These also are great value for money in terms of how many drinks for the price. I would definitely recommend!

It has almost 10 grams more protein than the shakes i typically purchase and it tastes even better than them! I like the small carton each shake comes it, it's easy to breakdown and dispose of and it's a good size to throw in my gym bag for a post workout refuel. You can still tell its not just chocolate milk but its a protein drink so that's expected. The macros are pretty good and comparable to other brands and makes for a nice drink to take on your walk if you're in need of some extra protein! Blend it with some some protein ice cream of your choice and its a perfect milkshake with amazing macros.

However, muscle milk's chocolate flavored protein shakes have a solid chocolate taste, which is a nice complement to the protein you are getting in this. It's kinda of surprising how many grams of protein you are getting for how few calories there are. Overall good nutritious drink.

I didn't mind this but it wasn't my favorite. I wish it had a little more chocolate flavor. It tastes like almond chocolate milk not terrible but I was hoping for more.
