There’s a slight chalky flavor (like in lots of protein shakes) but it doesn’t overpower the flavor of the shake completely.

The flavor is smooth and not overly sweet, so it doesn’t have that artificial protein taste that some shakes do. I found it tastes even better served ice cold, especially after sitting in the freezer for a little while or poured over a glass of ice. It’s an easy way to get extra protein after a workout or when I need something quick during a busy day. Overall, even as someone who normally avoids chocolate protein drinks, I’d buy this one again to switch things up a little . 33 grams is a good amount protein great to hit the goal for the day, definitely don’t forget to shack well before drinking a couple of them it was hard to drink a the bottom but that’s user error.

Yeah, no, absolutely not like the original. Watery, dark chocolate essence...a bad tasting product. I have spent thousands on the original product Sam's used to carry and this change is just rotten. Bring back the old formula, Pepsi!
