They are actually a little on the heavy side, making them super solid. They have a smooth shiny feel and are super easy to hand wash. They also happen to be both microwave and dishwasher safe. The raised rim is also very convenient to help contain wet apps or a melting dessert.

Feels very summertime with the colors and if you wanted a heavy picnic basket it would be fantastic for a picnic. I would prefer a little larger plate to have a dinner, but can easily find a purpose for the dish most of the time.

Because of their thickness, stacking multiple plates quickly consumes a lot of cabinet room. This might not be ideal if you have limited kitchen space or prefer more compact dishware. Additionally, the design includes a raised bottom that reduces the usable surface area. A flatter, wider design would have been more practical and allowed for more food without increasing the overall footprint too much. While these plates excel in durability, a slightly redesigned shape and larger diameter would make them far more functional for everyday use.
