This mattress is perfect for back and side sleepers. Have not tried it on my stomach. It's as advertised, a smooth and comfortable bed that is a pleasure to sleep on. I got the king size and it's worth the price. As for the durability, I've only had it for a few weeks so I can't say how long it will last, but you have a 10 year warranty. I would not buy any other mattress.

I have back issues & they can wreck havoc with my sleep. My new Purple bed has really helped me get a better night's sleep. Just the right amount of squish without skimping on support. & the material isn't hot & sticky. No more waking up all sweaty & in pain!

Feels like there are holes in a few areas and body sinks in and not at all comfortable. Trying reversing the side, was ok for a week or so, now it is same issue on the other side as well, may be not too much but it is there. May be cause of the weight difference. It is like new in the middle though. Too expensive if it is going to last you just a couple years :(

I heard of the purple bed. I have back problems and always wake up sore. Our 25 yr old sleep number bed needed to be replaced. We bought the purple 3 . It has got to bed the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. It took about a week for my body to get used to it. Now I wake up with no back pain or shoulder pain. I highly recommend giving the Purple a try. I am glad I did!

I have a very serious spinal disease. Once I'd found a bed that worked, I never thought I'd buy a different bed ever again. Fast forward 5 years, I'm shopping for a new bed, to replace the old one. My roommates have a purple, and let me lay on it. My hand to God... THE PURPLE IS SUPERIOR TO MY OLD BED (which was a top of the line king koil latex memory foam, and selling for over $1500) do, not only did I take the plunge and buy the purple (which was only 2/3 of the cost of the other bed, but I love it more and more every day!

I can't remember ever leaving a review for anything. I'm pretty busy and with that I also don't sleep as much or as deeply (previously) as I should. On Purple, I sleep like a baby and so so deeply. I can sleep for 5 hours and feel like I slept for 8. With Purple pillows it feels like you're sleeping on a cloud. Love is Purple.

We used to get up with back pain, NOW no pain at all. Our bodies melt into our bed and actually can relax and have a RHEM restful sleep. No more lower back pain because my back has no need to arch. We look forward to getting to bed now and we cant wait to go to bed. We even started watching movies in our bed. Lol! Love it and will never go back to anything else. We are planning on getting the POWERBASE soon then we will be LOADED with comfort all from the PURPLE PEOPLE. Thank God for YOU ALL!!!

Previously I was sweating it out in the Texas heat on a form conforming mattress. I couldn't sleep on my side and I would wake up suddenly because of poor circulation to one of my arms. I am a natural side sleeper. And none of the foam mattresses were going to get me there. Since the purple has come to roost in our home, I sleep more deeply, when I wake up (due to my light sleeper tendencies) I can return to deep sleep immediately. I am not trapped in a pool of my own sweat. I fall asleep in any unearthly position with no apparent issues. If anything the bed masks my poor body structure to the point that leaving it reminds me that entropy is hard at work. I would live in this bed if I could. We got in on this when it was in Kickstarter, so it's like 3 years old ish. for the first 2 years, I guess it was, it was a great bed. The first few nights hurt, but it turned out that it was simply realigning our backs. after that it was like being born anew. where I had back issues before from sleeping, now I could move freely and slept through the night, waking feeling refreshed. all seems great except after less than 2 years, now both sides of it are sunk in and useless. I'm a big dude but by no means obese. I do physical work for a living so just my day to day keeps me in shape. we tried rotating the bed but it doesn't help as even my wife's side, and she weighs much less than me, is sunken. there is one spot that is still good down the center, but I can only use that when she's out of town. were to the point that she's offering to sleep in the guest room because I wake up hours early now in pain and simply cant sleep more than 4-5 hrs on this thing before the pain is unbearable. I've come to look forward to my out of town work trips because literally any hotel bed rests me way way better than my home purple one. I would have said 5 star out the gate but as of the last year I'd have to say 1 star. I let it keep an additional star because it use to be great, but even with the purple frame, the purple pillow and the stretchy bamboo sheets, this thing has become a torture device. for the price, I really feel it should last longer than 2 years. we are trying to sell our house right now and we are looking forward to tossing this thing out when we move and trying a different bed that hopefully will be much better on us for a much longer period of time. I'll keep the pillow I think because I like how cool it sleeps and my neck has no issues with it, but the mattress itself is eating my lower back alive.

I was so excited to buy this bed 1 month ago because even tho my old bed was only 3 years old it was sagging where I laid. I have a bulging disk at L4 and thought more support would help but every night i have the hardest time rolling over because my lower back hurts so much. it says to give yourself time to adjust to the support. But i don't know if i can I really am missing my old bed that i thought I hated so much. I will give it another month to see if i can get use to this one. I hope i can keep the bed.
