The Purple is everything I hoped it would be -- super supportive, super comfortable, doesn't get hot in the night, and I don't even wake up when my husband gets up to go to the bathroom. Also, definitely take note of the "body adjustment period". I'm glad I read the note saying it may take your body up to 30 days to adjust to a nice mattress. I slept soooo comfortably on it for about 10 days until I had a bad pain in my shoulder that's been an off & on issue for me for years in the past. It was pretty bad for a few days, then it went away and I've been back to sleeping comfortably for the last 3 weeks. I'm hoping my previous worn-out mattress was the issue all along. :) The only weird thing about the whole experience was that the bag-cutter was on the inside of the bag. Haha. I will definitely buy another Purple when this one wears out in 10 years.

I'm sure it's a great mattress for some. We have been top of the end buyers of mattresses for years. Heard of the purple n decided to give it a try and it has made us so sore! We can be all sleeper (side, back etc) and even after 4 weeks now it's been horrible! Was hoping for a better fit since it states how it continues to your body. Not in my opinion.

I have the Purple Mattress Queen and expected it to be firmer. Still giving it a chance and trying to be in less pain when I wake up. I have a bad back and arthritis, and when I wake up, I hurt from shoulders down, but better after shower. It makes me sad for the money I paid for it. My daughter has an Original and that's what persuaded me. She suggests that I send back. We will see as I am trying to force myself to like it and be comfy.

My wife was a little skeptical of us getting the purple mattress. I did a lot of research on all different types of mattresses that are available online and in stores, and I convinced her to try this out at least for the 100 night trial. We are almost 30 nights into this mattress, and we have never slept better. I, personally, am a hot sleeper and very restless. My wife and I both have noticed that we actually sleep through the entire night and I love the breath-ability of the mattress.

I have had the Purple (the original) mattress, in a fullsize, now for about a month. I am 5' 11" and usually weigh between 180-185 lbs. So far this mattress is perfect for me. I vacillate between sleeping on my back and sleeping on my side and this mattress handles both perfectly. I've even, on occasion, slept on my stomach which I rarely do due to back problems, but this mattress seems to have the right amount of give to allow for that. The best thing of all, for me, is that the mattress really does stay relatively cool compared to others I've slept on. Up to this point, the Purple mattress has me still looking forward to sleeping on it. Love it.

Sleeping on purple for 2 weeks now. We have found it to be a comfortable mattress and sleep really well. Prior to getting mattress I hurt my back and have been in considerable pain since. While on the purple my back feels great and I don't want to get up. If only I could stay in bed all day but thats not possible but it does give me an excuse to lay down again thru the day on my purple.

My wife and I were looking to replace our mattress and decided to see what the purple was all about. I know they say it takes time to get used to but we slept amazing the first night and woke up without back pain. It sleeps cool which was a big deal for me and traditional pillow tops get way too hot for me. We are a few weeks in now and still really enjoy it and have slept good every night. You got to try it, you won't regret it. We also got the premium sheets and they are super soft and cool. The stretch provides a nice touch as well

I have slept on inner-spring plush mattresses for my entire life. I found myself suddenly tired all of the time! No amount of sleep, excercise, diet, or caffeine could fix my energy levels. I was sleeping so much to try and feel rested, I was getting bedsores. My body hated sleeping. I felt so desperate to try anything. My sister told me about the Purple Mattress. That first night, I must've slept for over 12 hours. I have never felt so refreshed or rested. And I didn't get bedsores. I came across an advertisement for purple. As I read it claimed to keep you from sweating while you sleep. I don't have the problem, but my two year old does. We have had the bed for about a month now and not one night has she sweat. If she naps on the couch she sweats if she naps in the room she doesn't. The mattress is great. Its firm and feels great on the back. I haven't realized it till now but my lower back hasn't hurt in about a month.
