I got the original purple the first day I saw Goldilocks drop glass with eggs onto the mattress. Since 2015 I have loved every nights sleep I've had on it. When guests would stay at my house, I would take the couch and have them convinced the next day they needed one. 3 different roommates of mine from college have purchased queens or larger. My 81 year old grandmother got one after visiting and is buying another one for her guest room soon. My ex got one after she moved out, my brother, and my mom are purchasing one for themselves for Christmas. Five stars isn't enough for this mattress!! I say 500 stars!!

I ordered the king size, original purple mattress this past summer. I only had it about 3 weeks before I started to notice my side of the bed started to sag and create a "divit" where I sleep. This was the main reason I got rid of my old bed, so I was a little annoyed that it didn't even make it the first month. I'm a relatively big guy (5'9'' but 230 lbs) but the website said this shouldn't be a problem. I was and am hesitant to call because this bed is so comfortable but I also spent a great deal of money on it ( I also bought the bed frame which is also great, and its height gives plenty of room for storing tubs of clothes) and I can only sleep on about 2 feet of the bed without the feeling that I am falling or leaning.

Since the first night and I am going into day 30 I have not had a tossing and turning night!! It is sorcery what they have here super comfy, it suspends yoyu when you get into it the feeling I can only ise to describe how I am sleeping now!! You have raised the bar for sleep good job!!

I bought the original single layer Purple mattress and am actually disappointed in the quality of sleep I get. I toss and turn all night and wake up 2-3 times a night still just like when I slept on the floor. I tend to sleep on my side most of the night and I bought this mattress thinking it would help me no cut off the blood to my arms and support my back, but that just wasn't the case. Don't get me wrong though, If you're a back sleeper this is a wonderful mattress! its better than sleeping on the floor for sure, but I don't think I'll keep it

I recently bought this bed for my grandpa who has slept on a temp bed for almost 10 years. After 2 weeks of sleeping on this bed his back and knee pains have improved and also sleeps through the night. Once this bed is paid off I'm definitely getting one for myself. Great bed I have already referred 7 people and would recommend this bed to everyone and I haven't even slept on it.

My wife and I ordered a queen size mattress on Cyber Monday this past Thanksgiving. We ordered several items, including the mattress, sheets, foundation, and pad. So far, we love all of the products. The foundation is very sturdy and provides more under bed storage than we had previously. The mattress is the best that I've ever had (previously had an air mattress with adjustable numbers, which I liked but...this is better). Very comfortable and I my sleep is the best in years. It took my wife a couple weeks to adjust but she now loves the mattress as well. The only reason that I didn't give a 5 star rating is that the items were shipped separately. The mattress arrived first. The foundation arrived a week or so later. I would have preferred that they were shipped at the same time so that I could set the bedroom up only one time. The mattress is fairly heavy and the process was more cumbersome than needed. Don't know if delaying shipment of the mattress was an option but I would have gladly done that. Other than that, buying a mattress online was well worth the risk.

I have pretty bad back pain nightly and my girlfriend has very bad neck pain. We've always had to make trade offs between a bed that's supportive and a bed that puts or spines in bad positions. We were pretty excited about it beforehand and had sky high expectations. I'm genuinely still impressed by this mattress. We've slept on it for two days so far and my back needs no warm-up time in the mornings anymore. I roll out of bed and I feel like I could walk my dog for an hour if she needed it. Another plus of the purple mattress is how cool it keeps you at night, but also without having cold spots if you move around! It doesn't overinsulate your heat in one spot, it regulates itself to stay ventilated and normal. I'd recommend the purple mattress to anyone.

I came home a week ago to find a gigantic purple tampon in my driveway. It took about three weeks from my order date to arrive. The Fed-X guy must hate us, because this thing is big, heavy and awkward. I'm guessing he rolled it off the back of the truck, flipped the bird at my house and took off. Thankfully I have a two wheeled cart that allowed me to get this king sized beast up the steps and into our bedroom. Once there, I was able to roll it into place and slice open the bag easily enough. Mine came out upside down, so maybe it works better to place it at the foot of the bed and roll it out toward the top. (Or maybe I just had it backward.) My wife and I are not in full agreement on the comfort of the mattress. I have slept like a baby from the first night. She struggled for the first few days, but seems to be sleeping much better a week later. She also does not like the lack of edge structure we had with our former (interspring) mattress. The thing I like best about the Purple is the "Dead" feeling when you lay down on it. I find it VERY calming and I fall asleep within minutes, every single time. It seems to be both soft and supportive, something I cannot say about our 20 year old, very firm, Serta mattress. However, the Serta did hold up for a long time. (Something we will find out later about the Purple.) Although I am very physically active, I have had multiple knee surgeries and my hips generally ache in the morning. I have not been able to sleep under the blankets on our bed for quite some time. I have spent years sleeping on top of the bed with a light comforter to alleviate my knee pain, frequently with a pillow between my legs. I am now happy to say I am sleeping comfortably UNDER the covers with no ill effects. The bed seems to cradle me so I feel no unwanted pressure on my hips and knees. My wife is happy to see I have joined the rest of the world "between the sheets". I also find that I am waking up well-rested. I wake more easily, and do not have the stiffness in my knees and hips I had on the old mattress. Come to think of it, I have not had any shoulder pain in the last week, despite having ramped up my workouts significantly...so there is that as well. I have noticed that my wife seems to wake more easily as well, although she remains skeptical about the Purple. I too would like to see a bit more edge structure to the Purple when sitting on the edge to tie a shoe, but my primary focus was on finding a restful night's sleep and I have most certainly found the Purple to excel when it comes to quiet, peaceful and restful sleep. I've had to sleep on a Tempurpedic Mattress for 25 odd years due to a back injury in High School. Even then, there are times I can't get out of bed without assistance. The Purple I bought is very similar to Viscoelastic Foam except the heat retention common to Tempurpedic. That said, after ~6 weeks of sleeping on it I can't say honestly that it's superior to Tempurpedic but it's also not inferior.

I love that the mattress sleeps cool and it has really helped with my issue of going numb on whatever side I'm laying on with my tempurpedic. I feel like it's not to soft but not too firm either. It's just right! Great pressure relief! The texture of the grid is a little odd and a little hard to get used to but once you're laying on it you don't really notice.
