Glad I spent the money. I like it. The heavy duty bag it came in is too nice to toss away even though I can't think of a use for it. The big cardboard pieces were handy in masking off the house from the deck when I stained the deck. Your info emails were fun too. jrg

While I think the mattress is okay, the customer service has been terrible. Their only response to any of my contact has been to explain how I can return my mattress if I'm not happy. Nobody has wanted to take time to discuss my issues. Now, I fear I have to decide if the mattress is good enough to keep, wondering if the customer service would continue to be so neglectful. I will probably go another way.

I've tried many mattresses over the years and had recently become curious and interested in the Purple mattress. when finally deciding to go shopping online for a replacement mattress this spring, I became distracted by several ads from other mattress companies, and went with a memory foam mattress - BIG mistake!! I am peri-menopausal, and suffer back and neck pain, and memory foam was WAY too hot of sleeping temperature for me. I ended up returning that mattress for a refund at the end of this summer, and decided to purchase the Purple -- SO GLAD I SWITCHED! It provides everything you advertise -- great support for pressure points, cooler sleeping temperature, etc. I agree with other reviewers that it takes a night or two to get used to the different feel of the mattress. But after that, ooh it is SO comfortable that I don't want to get out of bed in the morning because it is so comfy! THANK YOU PURPLE!

We LOVE the bed!! When we first got it all set up my husband's first response was "Nope, I don't like it" And then we slept on it and we are SOLD!!! It took a few days to get used to it because its so different from any other that we have had. We both feel like we are weightless. We cant feel exactly when our body is touching the bed. I went to the beach about 6 weeks after getting our bed and I was sooooo happy to get back to my purple!!! And let me tell you...SEX IS BETTER ON A PURPLE!!! We don't sink into the bed, there are no springs so it is just us moving. LOVE IT!!! We did the egg test several times!! We are telling everybody about it and even showing them the egg test. I am really impressed that other peoples movement cannot be felt. We can both get out of bed without waking the other. AND my grandbaby was asleep on the bed and I tried to climb out of the bed slowly (like you have to on old style mattresses) and I didn't need to do it slow! I just got up normally because it wasn't moving the baby at ALL!!! Y'all need to make baby bed sizes!!

This is my second purple mattress. The first one was a queen and this one was a king. It arrived misshaped and with flat spots where the foam isn't properly squishy. It looks obviously deformed by the naked eye, without even needing to push on it. The first one we bought has had no issues, but this one is defective. The warranty process seems not only difficult -- but impossible. They simply do not reply. I've been updating these tickets and its been over a week with no response from Purple. I contacted their support department 3 times now and each time they tell me "Our warranty team is about 8 days behind on emails" or "Our warranty team is 14 days behind on emails". I get that they have a ton of backlog of messages but they could take a minute or two and acknowledge the issue so we can rest easier knowing it will be resolved. All the meanwhile, my wife and I have this defective mattress to sleep on. I was a happy Purple customer with my first purchase going fine, but the way this is being handled put such a bad taste in my mouth. The Purple is a great value mattress but if you have any sort of issues with it, their refund/warranty process is not as described and at this point, the claims are fraudulent.

So how do you buy a mattress blind over the Internet? Well, a 100 day return policy sure helps. Since it was comparably priced to mattresses we tried locally and there was a zero risk return policy, we decided to take the plunge. It arrived in a huge burrito which grew into a mattress once open. Cool but I've seen it before. We ended up with a mattress that felt WAY too soft. I sat down on it and sank in too much. Whilst choking back my disappointment, I laid back planning on crying myself to my first slumber on the new mattress. That is when the magic happened. As I laid flat, the bed changed. When your weight is concentrated, you sink. When you are laying down, it supports you perfectly as your weight gets distributed evenly. I would like to say that I heard angels singing and the horns sounding but... well I did. It was like laying on a cloud. Pretty sweet. I ordered the mattress protector too. I need to protect my investment. My wife is a drooler, like a lot. I mean our last mattress was essentially a sponge. The mattress protector is equally crazy. It is soft and doesn't crinkle like the plastic cover on grandma's couch. So "happy time" isn't broadcast to the rest of the house. Long story short, I am very happy with my purple purchases.

On the second or third night after we got the Purple mattress, my wife slept through the night for the first time in months! Normally she would get up in the night and go and sleep on our recliner in the living room because her back would hurt. Not anymore! What a wonderful thing, thanks Purple!

I had a queen mattress that was less thank 5 years old, but wanted to bump up to a king. After seeing the advertisements on Facebook repeatedly I decided to start reading the reviews and watching the videos. I'm a scientist...how can I not sleep on a bed that was developed using science? With the 100 day money back guarantee I felt like it wouldn't be a risk if we absolutely hated it. Well both my husband and I love it. It's way better than the memory foam beds as well as the beds you 'air' up and down with remotes that cost 6K. I am someone that tosses and turns and sleeps on my back and side. And I found that in this bed I don't do that. Also my hip that presses into the mattress doesn't hurt anymore when I sleep on my side. I also don't feel my husband or kids move or get in and out of bed which is a huge plus. I will never buy another mattress, and looking forward to my kids getting out of cribs/toddler beds so I can buy them a purple mattress.

We got repeated defective mattresses (twice) and I have spent significant time with returns and communicating with people over e-mail. You even delivered another mattress that I did not want and it needed to be moved from in front of my garage and sat there in my driveway for days. Still working on getting my money back after a painful experience. This is a very poorly run business.

I am enjoying my purple mattress, I do believe it has given me better sleep. It took me a little more time than I expected to adjust to it. I had a generic brand memory foam mattress for 10 years, needed replacing for sure. Thanks for giving me good rest!!
