I heard about the Purple Mattress from three different people. I researched a lot of different mattresses and decided to try this one. The first week I had it, I did not sleep well. The second week I had it was probably the best sleep I've had in a very, very long time. Then, I received the Purple Pillow. Holy cow! So comfortable! I haven't stopped talking about my new mattress since I got it.

Me and my wife sleep in different rooms because we both take up a lot of room in the bed and like to sleep at different temperatures. We both have purple mattresses and got one for our son too. I've tried other beds before finding purple and I'm never returning to anything else. I've had mine for at least 5 years now and it still sits as if it was brand new

We're three weeks in and my shoulder and hip pain while in bed are getting better but I'm still having back pain and I think it's because my body insists on sleeping on my stomach! I try so hard to sleep on my back or side and always wake up on my stomach! My husband is loving it though!

I really wish that purple made a firmer mattress, but there's no adjusting the firmness on this guy and my wife and I have always slept on a harder mattress, so unfortunately this mattress didn't end up staying. The quality however is top notch and it's the heaviest mattress out of all the others we've tested.

My husband are I were very interested in this mattress due to the fact we are both side sleepers. This mattress definitely took some getting use to, the first few night we woke up sore but we have gotten use to it and no longer have back pain. It does keep us pretty cool at night too. The down side is that this mattress is too firm for both of us, we like soft and plush beds and this one it's crazy firm or anything, just a little too firm for us. Also the price, it is pretty expensive compared to the other brans out there.

I purchased the original purple mattress because my old mattress hurt my back. The original purple mattress took about 3 weeks to break in, now my back pain has mostly went away.Overall the mattress is comfortable and has alleviated a lot of my back pain. I bought a full size mattress and believe the price for an original purple full size mattress is a bit over priced.

The mattress is very comfortable, the perfect balance of firm and soft. My back and hips were really hurting with our previous mattress and it has been great ever since we received our purple mattress. Also, my husband has had problems with his sciatic nerve in the past, but it has not bothered him at all since we got the new mattress.

We love the matress, but the overall expereince with Purple has been just ok. The customer service has not been the best as there were issues with the base being on backorder. However, even with sleeping on the floor, the matress has drastically improved my sleep.

My old mattress was starting to show signs of it's age and has been relegated to guest bed duty. After an adjustment period, I found I have much less back discomfort and sleep cool on this mattress. My girlfriend now hates her own mattress and claims this helps with my snoring. I will say her first night on this is the only time I've ever seen her sleep in..... The isolated motion transfer so we don't wake each other to let the dog out or use the bathroom is great, as is the silent material for "fun time". I wish the mattress were cheaper, but I'm very happy with my purchase and it's been a great investment so far.

I've been researching to buy a bed for some time since my old pillow top bed was way overdue to be replaced. I actually slept in every other room other than my bedroom simply because I didn't want to wake up with lower back pain. I've spent a lot of time researching and going to mattress stores in search of a new bed. I knew I was going to buy a bed in a bed mattress but needed to determine what type of mattress to get. I've looked at so many mattress to include tuft n needle, amerisleep, sealy cocoon, nectar, bear, ghostbed, Casper etc. I'm a combo sleeper (back/side) and do not like to sleep hot. I have slept on memory foam and pocket coil mattresses which I have in my other bedrooms. I enjoyed the pocket cool mattress for the back support and coolness however I did not have as much support for my shoulder when I slept on my side. I enjoyed the comfort and support of the memory foam mattress however I did notice it was slightly harder to move around and slept a little warmer than the pocket coil. During my research, I came across purple and noticed it appeared to sleep cool, was responsive, and still offered support. One of my biggest concerns is sleeping cool as the summer months get extremely hot and sleeping cool is extremely important (my last bed, a pillow top, slept extremely warm). One thing that helped push my decision was watching a video on the purple mattress where they used a pressure mat to show where the support was. There was a big difference in pressure relief compared to some of the other mattresses I was looking it. I have read mixed reviews on the purple but after all my research, I decided to pull the plug and get one since after all I could return it if I didn't like it. After getting bed and lying on it, I noticed it was responsive yet supportive. When I laid on my back, I felt as if I was floating on the mattress however when I turned to my side, I sank in a litttle and felt support in my hips and shoulder. For about the first week and a half, my wife and I woke up with slight back pain and I was extremely disappointed because I thought I really wanted to love this mattress. I told myself I needed more time to get used to this mattress and I was right. I absolutely love this mattress and I have gotten probably the best quality of sleep I've had in many years. I literally dream every night which was unheard of with my old mattress. It sleeps extremely cool for which I am very happy. The only downside I would say is that I wish there was a little more shoulder support when I sleep on my side however I still sleep great (I didn't want to spend a lot more $ on the newer purple mattresses which are very expensive). Overall extremely pleased with my purchase and I would definitely recommend giving this mattress a try.
