We were about two weeks into our mattress search in store and online and was just about settled on one that cost $2,500+. A search online brought me to the Purple website with the cleaver advertising. After investigating the product we purchase the purple at no risk, via the trial period and free return shipping. The Purple Mattress purchase has exceeded our expectations. The Purple solved my wife's stiff back problems. This mattress is as advertised in every respect. We would highly recommend the purple mattress at double the asking price; it's really that great for sleeping!

LOVED it at first. I saw other commenters who said it was too hard- it is pretty hard at first, but I liked that. Over the course of the year we've had it, it has gotten way too soft. I can feel the plywood (didn't get a box spring) we have underneath of it. There is a hard spot still in between where my husband and I sleep and when he's not in the bed I like to sleep on that. I'm not sure how much longer it's going to last. We might have to buy a new mattress in another year or so.

My spouse and I needed to replace our current mattress, but were apprehensive because we loved ours so much. We researched Nectar, SleepNumber and landed on Purple. We're picky and prefer a firm mattress, and while this one doesn't appear firm at first, it's incredibly supportive. I had no idea my side sleeping felt so much pressure before until I felt the sweet relief of the grid feature -- which gives strong support, while allowing some 'give' for your hips/shoulders to sink in just a tad, giving you better alignment and more comfortable support. Both my spouse and I are hot sleepers and noticed the sort of light and airy feel of Purple. My spouse moves around a lot when he sleeps, but I honestly think I notice it less with this mattress (either bc he's more comfort and moving less, or the absorption in movement doesn't transfer to me as easily...either way, an improvement!).

I have lived with back pain since I was about 4 years old. This is the first bed I have ever had that has helped my back. The very first night I slept in the Purple bed, I woke up without back pain. I'm able to go from sleeping to getting up without having to stretch/pop my back for 20 minutes. We have already referred at least 4 people to get a Purple mattress, and I don't see us ever using another bed.

We liked this bed so much we bought a second one. We are both side sleepers and went with the original purple bed. If you buy the purple frame to use instead of traditional box spring it makes the bed a little more firm. We actually prefer it to be softer so we are going back to box springs. You do need to give the bed a full 30 days before your body gets use to being supported correctly. It caused both of us to have a sore neck for about the first three days then all of a sudden you begin having the best sleep you have ever had. I use to need 10-12 hours of sleep a night to feel rested. I now sleep so well I'm rested after 6-8 hours of sleep.

And I'm not disappointed!! I forgot all the reasons I wanted one but I'm reminded periodically when my partner moves in his sleep and I don't even know it or the day after the first night on it when I remembered I had a new mattress and there was no "breaking in" period.

I have been sleeping on the queen purple bed almost for the full 100 nights. Wake up hurting worse then when I went to bed. It's not the sheets because I have the purple sheets. Tried to get a return going and nothing got done so now I'm stuck with a bed I hate

My back was killing me in the weeks leading up to me buying this bed, and literally the first night's sleep was all it took . The next morning my back didn't hurt anymore!!! I wasn't paid by anyone to say this either !!! I highly recommend this bed !!!

I have been sleeping on the original Purple Mattress for about a month. It is OK, but nothing to rave about. The innovative top layer does feel nice when you first lay on it, but you quickly sink right through it to a traditional surface which does heat to your body temperature fairly quickly. I guess that is what it means by temperature neutral. After about fifteen minutes, it is as warm or as hot as you are. After a brief time, my pressure areas are not even aware of the purple topping on the mattress, they are at the bottom of the scrunched up material. I am keeping it because of the trouble it would take to return it and shop again. I would not purchase again though. The sleep experience on the Purple mattress does not measure up to the wonderful videos and hype.

I am 6'4 and 260lbs. I now wake up without a sore back. I sleep on my back, side and stomach. I find that the purple mattress is most comfortable for me on my back and lest comfortable on my side. It is cool to sleep on. I had a memory foam mattress and it was way to hot. Not this mattress. Nice and cool! The only problem I have with it so far is that one of the corners is sunk down compared to the others. But it hasn't affected sleeping.
