My husband and I had tried nearly every mattress on the market, pillow tops, memory foam, latex and for the last 5 years Sleep Number. My husband is a 100% disabled vet with serious low back pain and insomnia. I have Fibro and the nights are so painful I nearly cry every time I turned over. My niece introduced me to the purple mattress concept and after trying it out in the store we bought one. The first night I slept without pain and so deeply I barely remember turning over. I woke up feeling so great from the first truly restful sleep I've had in years. My husband took a few nights to adjust but loves the mattress now as much as I do. I think that if you have Fibro or other sleep and pain issues you should run, not walk to your local Purple store and try this mattress. It has changed my life, I hope it does that for you too. I wasn't sold on buying a mattress without being able to try it first. Purple came highly recommended by a friend, so we took the plunge. After a few days of getting used to it, my wife and I are in love with our bed again! The Purple is supportive, and was so easy to get set up and ready to use. I LOVE my new Purple mattress, and not just because I've spent years sleeping on garbage hand-me-down mattresses. It is so comfortable that this otherwise-night-owl can't wait to go to bed at night! I have no problem waking up in the morning, but would rather spend time curled up in bed. Thank you for making my back feel better, and giving me a proper night's sleep.

I really wanted to like this bed, but it's pretty underwhelming for 2K. First- it shipped almost a week later than the website quoted which was an issue for us. When it came it felt firm, but we assumed it just needed a break-in. 3 weeks later it's still just as firm, and a full nights sleep definitely doesn't feel like you thought it would in the store. Very hard, moves a lot when you our your partner roll over, and gives me lower back pain if I sleep on my stomach. Will be looking in to returning it which is disappointing.

I've been in the mattress business for a long time and it cracks me up how often people try to revolutionize the business. In this case, they're offering at what I can tell is a 2 maybe 3 player foam mattress. First, any quality mattress is between 4-6, and second, different sleep patterns need different type/firmness. Please everyone, stop trying to get the"new" thing. If it seems to good to be true, it usually is. Oh, P.S., I love the response to every complaint is get new sheets/pillow??!!?? What?

I had my reservations about this mattress and I really hesitated to the idea of buying a mattress online! But.....I'm so glad I did. It took about 5-10 nights to fully adjust. I'm 100% in love with my bed now! I no longer toss and turn with my shoulder hurting or an ache developing in my hip. The other surprise was at how cool I sleep. I purchased the bamboo stretchy sheets and they are so soft ! I'd highly recommend the Purple mattress to anyone looking for ultimate comfort.

I love love love my purple mattress! I have hip problems and back problems and have dealt with pain for years. The purple mattress conforms to my body especially my ****! When I lay flat on my back there is no gap between my lower back and the mattress, it holds me just right.

My wife and I have the basic purple mattress and after a month or so you'll feel every little movement. Our standard schnauzer was scratching himself with his teeth and it felt like we were in a semi waterbed. Would DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND PURPLE 1!

Definitely a departure from the traditional mattress. I spent a lot of time researching the different models and decided on the original purple due to my weight, size and style of sleep. I've had the mattress almost a month now and the jury is still out. For back sleeping, it is certainly ideal, cool and comfortable. On the occasion I side sleep, I'm not getting the comfort on my shoulders (I may not weigh enough to adequately compress the top layer for proper support. At present, I have all intentions on keeping the Purple as it does seem to be a comfortable, cool, motion free bed. I would highly recommend the Purple line of mattresses to anyone looking to replace or update their current traditional mattress.
