We got it for my mom who has a bad back and neck, and has had several surgeries on both. Her bed hurts her so we got her a purple to help her pain. Unfortunately we could only afford the basic and is actually caused her more pain than her bed she currently uses. My son however does love it and when I lay on it it does help my hip. We love the bed but wish it would have worked for my mom like intended.

If you want to experience sleep in a completely different way than you are used to, TRY THIS BED. I was skeptical at first but after 1 night of sleeping on it I was sold. No more numb arms in the morning!!!!! The Purple Sheets are also a must have. Kept me cool all summer. If you've been contemplating buying one, DO IT. The financing options are great and make it extremely affordable.

I ordered a CK only to get a king and being told that I would have to buy a CK to get it replaced.I did even though i know what size bed I have. CK came it is miss labeled and not the right size either. since your warranty dept doesn't use a phone I am still waiting other when the right one is coming after multiple calls...... honestly customer service with my purchase has been awful

The first week sleeping on my purple mattress was such a relief! My shoulders didn't hurt, my Hip didn't hurt, I could stay in the same position all night and still wake up pain free. Then slowly my shoulders started to hurt again, then my hip, now I toss and turn throughout the night. It is nowhere near as bad as when I had my previous mattress (which I have had for just over 1 year), but it isn't quite the hype that they were talking about. I would not trade it in as the only other mattress that i have slept on that was as nice was a much more expensive memory foam mattress, but i did have that mattress for 7+ years (and we still use it as a guest bed). My 100 day trial is not up yet, but I think we will probably keep this mattress unless it degrades further in that time.

I have owned the purple mattress from almost a year now. I lived it at frist but after a couple months started to notice a very big dip where I was sleeping. I figured this would happen over time but it happened so fast I have turn the mattress every couple months to try and help it not settle so much but I find myself trying to sleep in the middle of bed (much to my husbands dismay) where is the only place it is still firm. I wake up with major back every morning due to the lack of support. As I said before I new this would happen eventually I just did expect it so quickly and I'm really disappointed. I wish had I returned before the 100 instead of giving it a chance and now I am stuck with a bed that causes me pain. Just warning to anyone buying the support does not last long. I really wanted to love it but sadly it fell short.

We had been sleeping on the same mattress for 15 years. Good enough, we thought. Little did we know how much we were missing out on. I can't say enough good things about this mattress. We adore it. I'm getting the best sleep I've gotten in years. But the best thing about it is that it magically meets my wife's desire for a super soft bed and my want for a more firm feel. We adore our purple! And no, this isn't a paid endorsement. (Our bank statement will easily testify to that.) But worth every penny!

This bed is super comfortable, but the only drawback would be for me, (the wife) is that it does not retain my body heat, and therefore is too cool. But my solution has been to use a fleece blanket on my side, making it perfectly toasty that doesn't hinder the pressure point support. Maybe I'll fully enjoy the coolness more when I hit menopause :) Husband loves it, as it DOES sleep cool! Overall, great bed!

I feel as though the customer service could have been much better. The long delay in responding to emails and the shipping time was much later that I was told. I am still unsure if we will be returning the mattress yet, my hips and back still hurt while sleeping and it's been a month or so.

After many months of research and searching for the perfect mattresses. I decided on Purple 3. We were so excited when it arrived. This is a very good looking mattress, however that's where it all ends. I'm 6'2" 280 lbs. My first night was not comfortable, flaring up my back injuries from my military days gone by. 2nd night, toss and turn and more discomfort. 3rd night, continued discomfort. 4th night, left the bed in the middle of the night and tried to sleep on the couch. Next morning, moved the purple 3 out of the bedroom. Brought back the old mattress, slept wonderfully the following night. Additionally, this mattress is not cool. This mattress gets very warm. Suffocates your skin. The bed sheets pretty much sticking to your skin by morning. My girl friend, is 145 lbs. and says the mattress was comfortable for her, however she noticed feeling warm and not cool as described by the manufacturer. Moving this mattress is nearly impossible. You will need help from a neighbor. VERY, Very, very heavy. The mattress does not have any handles to help. Overall.. this is a really good looking mattress!!

Mattress is extremely comfortable, I love that it adjusts to my body and it's firm (I weight 130 pounds). I highly recommend it for for someone who is petite or with average weight. For someone more on the heavy side, I think I would recommend the hybrid.
