I have severe lower back issues and was scared to try a new bed, especially with not being able to feel/sit on it in person but ours had to be replaced. I spent weeks reading reviews and decided to try Purple. It was the best decision I've made. The bed is so comfortable and really supports my lower back. I'm usually a side sleeper but I tend to toss and turn a lot in my sleep, I've noticed that I haven't been doing it as much. I still deal with some pain but I don't wake up stiff anymore and it doesn't take me 5+ minutes just to get my self out of bed. My husband loves the bed as well and is completely happy with our purchase. Overall this was a great purchase and the customer service from Purple is amazing. We will definitely be lifelong customers after the experience we've had.

My wife and I really needed to replace our horrible hand- me -down extremely firm mattress due to waking up every morning with bad back pain and discomfort to the point it was effecting my productivity at work I have a bad back from an injury in the military and I really don't need a mattress adding to it. We tried out the Purple 4 at Mattress Firm while on vacation and really loved it...but unfortunately we couldn't afford the cost and I couldn't secure enough financing to purchase it. We ended up getting stuck with the original purple mattress. It's an ok mattress I don't feel like it's really worth the cost. However I can say I don't wake up with back pain any longer and it does say cool at night which is a plus since I do sleep on the hotter side at night. My wife is primarily a back sleeper so I think she finds this mattress more comfortable then I do since I'm a side sleeper and it's much firmer then I would like.

Well, we both NEVER expected the hype and reviews to be true. But I will tell you, though it's a weird mattress, since night one, we've both woken up with NO soreness in our shoulders, neck, back, or legs. It still is surprising, but we are very satisfied.

Sort of still figuring out how to sleep on it without my arm going numb or getting shoulder pain. Almost a combo of side and stomach sleeping seems the best.. I love the height of the pillow but doesn't really provide enough support between my arm and head and usually why my arm falls asleep.

As someone who spent 6+ months in physical therapy post back injury I'd recommend this to anyone with back pain, their zero pressure design works perfectly. It doesn't get lumpy or try to produce the same stability all across like a traditional spring mattress or even let you sink down into a hole like memory foam, it gives you support in the lumbar spine while letting your hips sink down just enough to keep a neutral spine. As a side/ back sleeper I Absolutely love it! I can sleep In any position and feel supported where I need it while still having no harsh pressure. 10/10 would buy again and infact I am upgrading to a king.

Only about a month into purchasing the purple bed but it's been nothing but bliss sleeping on this mattress. My sore neck and back pain went away in 2 nights. I am an athlete and weight 205 so I needed a bed with great support and I have found it so far. This bed is like no other. Might feel firm the moment you lay on it but I assure you it's what your body needs. Customer for life now.

We've had the mattress for about one week so it's still too early to tell of any real gripes or discrepancies present. So far, I've no complaints. I'm not necessarily moved about spending how much I did on the initial setup for the okay sleep I'm getting now but maybe it'll change with time.

It took two weeks for this puppy to show up, and it was worth it. I look forward to a day when I can buy the newer version. I'm sure they made a few improvements. I never wake up feeling sore or stiff anymore. I highly recommended their bamboo sheets. I really don't think you can beat the original purple for the price. You won't be disappointed. Great bed, great concept.

We purchased a purple mattress because of the technology about the way it distributes the weight of your body. I went to bed feeling the back ache pains I usually have and the first night after sleeping on it, I had no back pains in the morning. It was a dream come true.

So, I wanna start off by saying this, plain and simple: I love Purple. I have severe hemophilia and mild Cerebral Palsy, years of sleeping on conventional mattress technology (I had the same mattress from ages 7-18 and then another for about a year) left me tired constantly, and with pain in my back and neck that would sometimes lead to internal bleeding. Well, now that's pretty much a thing of the past! I've been sleeping on Purple's revovolutionary comfort technology for a few months now and it has changed my life. Never before have my eyes popped open in the morning after a night's sleep, it's truly amazing how I can't wait to go to bed. As of now I own the original purple, the pillow, the sheets, the mattress Protector, and more recently(it just came in yesterday) the Purple 2. Not to mention I have received nothing but perfect customer service throughout all of my orders, and I can confidently say to people that you guys are legit. I will always be a huge supporter, thank you for everything!
