We bought two of the twin mattresses for a split king setup. Unfortunately our frame let them slide too much and we would always have a gap in the middle so we switched to a single king. However Purple did a redesign of the original mattresses to have a firmer edge support (which was needed and the problem for our twins) but by doing so the whole mattress is now significantly firmer. We ended up returning it and now purchased the premier 3 inch version because the mattress is amazing. I just wish we could have gotten the king in the original formula. Love purple and their customer service is crazy good. The return process was super painless. Our customer service experience is the main reason we are going to end up spending way more than we originally planned because we were so impressed with the purple company. Will leave a review once for new mattress once we get it to offset this one. 6 stars for company and customer service, but bed was really bad for us so stars reflect that, fwiw

My wife and I were researching a new mattress for a while and decided the Purple was the way to go. I rarely dole out 5-star reviews - so consider this a 4.5-star review. It's not quite like sleeping on a cloud surrounded by fluffy kittens, but it's pretty close. This is worlds better than any standard/spring mattress I've ever slept on. Definitely worth giving it a shot if you're looking for a better night's sleep.

I had a ton of back pain from our 2 year old bamboo mattress. So then in April 2016 we tried the Tuft & Needle matress with hopes it would help. It was terrible, I think sleeping on the ground would be better. We returned it almost immediately. I had been looking at Purple for a while so I pulled the trigger. It is awesome! I immediately went out and got some jersey knit sheets because of the recommendations and my back pain is gone! Thank you Purple.

Absolutely love the mattress. been a year now that I've been using Purple. As a person with scoliosis, a mattress with a good medium-firm support is best for me. Purple is soft and breathable as well as just firm enough in all those pinpoint areas to relieve any aches and pains. Purple is the first mattress to genuinely relieve any of my back pain and allow a decent nights sleep in over 15 years. I highly recommend!

I purchased two Purple King size mattresses. I have owned them for approximately 2 months but I don't fell qualified to speak on their quality as I have never slept on either mattress yet. They were bought for guest bedrooms and our guests that have stayed at our house said they slept well and thought they were a nice mattress but then a few single nights on a brand new mattress should elicit such a response. I can say that the company was easy to work with during the order, shipping, etc. All the proper items were included and shipping was performed in a timely manner. If the mattress holds up as well as the initial order/service then yes I would definitely buy from Purple again.

I bought the 3" hybrid mattress, being mostly a side sleeper. I do flip onto my back at times in the night. I have been using it since the summer on an appropriate foundation, along with the mattress pad (waste, just slides all over) and the sheets. I am now having trouble sleeping because the entirety of my back is now hurting after a few hours on it, and it takes me awhile to feel normal after getting up. I suspected the 3" was a bit too soft and now, after months of use, it has become even softer. Given what I paid for it, this is quite discouraging since I am 41 years old and of average weight, so no extenuating circumstances complicating matters. I now have to figure out what to do to firm it up somehow or I will be buying a new mattress altogether. I should have bought the original Purple and perhaps would be in better shape sleeping now all these months later. It would be interesting to know if all these positive reviews from the initial purchase still feel the same way 6+ months later.

I didn't have my hopes up too high when I ordered this mattress but I was pleasantly shocked and surprised. I've dealt with sciatic pain for years and I hated going to bed because of the discomfort and pain with my memory foam mattress. I've had the People Purple mattress for two weeks and it is awesome! I can now sleep in any position with comfort and really looking forward to going to bed and staying in bed. I'm definitely sleeping better and longer.

I am very happy with my purple mattress. I am a side sleeper that suffers from night sweats and chronic back pain and so far, my mattress has given me the most confortable sleep that has helped me push through the day that follows. It's a great mattress for whatever type of sleeper you are.

I absolutely love my purple. I look forward every night to my comfortable mattress. It is amazing soft yet so supportive. My husband and I both comment on how well we sleep at night. I would never buy another type of mattress, and I have had foam mattresses. We bought the Purple 4 mattress and love it. We've had the mattress for two months and love it more and more each night.

Great matress, did not know what to expect when I purchased the purple original mattress. I have a temepedic firm and the only difference is the purple is less hot from body heat. I would recommend this bed with purples matress protector only. They work great together.. A regular matress protector makes it hot again.
