I bought the Purple mattress in part because of the reviews I read about how much it had helped with people's back pain. Unfortunately that is not the case with me. I have had the mattress almost a month and my low back pain has never been worse. I am usually a side sleeper but I'm having to force myself to try and sleep on my back to reduce the pain. Needless to say, I'm not getting much sleep at all. I am planning to return the mattress once the mandatory 30 day trial period is up.

After all my research I knew this was the one. After much anticipation I flopped down and to my surprise ... it didn't feel that special. HOWEVER. The Purple is not your heavenly angel cloud bed and it never claimed to be. It is your good-night-sleep-keep-you-supported bed. And that it does so well. Basically all other beds are ruined for me now. I love this mattress for many reasons, but if there's one thing I have to point to bedsides how comfortable it is once you adapt to it and how well you sleep it is this: minimal motion transfer. My partner is a big time flopper to the point where it would wake me up. Now I don't even feel him moving around. It's wonderous. I recommend this mattress to anyone and everyone. Also important: the 30 day test period. At first I didn't think it had turned out to be that special, however after the 30 days I really noticed a difference in how comfortable I felt and my improved sleep. Buy this mattress you won't regret it!

The way the marketing advertises this mattress, you'd think it would be more comfortable. As it turns out, it's not that great. It's actually pretty stiff. I woke up the first morning with all new pains. I just got home from 5 nights in a tent, sleeping on a cot, and this mattress was worse than the cot.

My original style Purple is the BEST mattress I've ever had. I've had 2 Select Comfort and Beautyrest mattresses. My Purple is not just comfortable, it's comforting. I don't know how else to put it. I sleep well, my much-injured back and neck are happy - I'm happy! My 1/2 Star off would only be because I had a small indentation problem before the end of my first year. I sent pics to Purple on Facebook Messenger, and their response back was my new Purple was on its way! It was literally that easy. I expect my experience was a fluke and now expect to get many years of comforting sleep on my new Purple mattress. Would I buy again? You better believe it! My friends are now buying too! P.S. I have the adjustable frame. Two thumbs up! Less expensive than Select Comfort (by half?) with all the same features PLUS a few more and the same warranty.

My boyfriend and I love this mattress. All of my back pain went away. The first two nights were weird because there are no springs so it feels slightly different. But now, we both love it. Especially my boyfriend since he can't feel me get out of bed at night.

My husband and I absolutely love our Purple mattress & sheets! We are finally getting a good night's rest and not waking up with aching bones/joints. We also love the cooling effect of both the mattress & sheets. We keep our thermostat set higher now in the warmer months, which is saving us money! We are HIGHLY satisfied!

We've had our purple mattress now for about a month. The main reason for trying this brand was because I'm a hot sleeper and my wife and I couldn't find a memory foam mattress that sleeps cool. We purchased a Nectar and a Sealy Cocoon Chill, and both options soaked up your body heat horribly. So, we gave the Purple mattress a shot after reading reviews and seeing how the Purple design was different than the competition. The comfort of the Purple mattress is fantastic for both back and side sleeping. I'm very happy with the firmness and give that the mattress provides. However, I'm not totally satisfied with the temperature the mattress sleeps at. I thought it was going to be so much better than the other mattresses we tried, but it still sleeps hot. This mattress would easily be a 5 out of 5 stars if it slept cooler as advertised.

My husband has been complaining about bad sleep, no sleep and aches and pains for 20+ years. After just a few weeks sleeping on his new Purple mattress, he is actually getting sleep and says his body feels better. Honestly, I never thought I would hear him say that! Purple just may be the best purchase we ever made!

I haven't been able to sleep on my side for a while without waking up with shoulder pain or soreness. This mattress really fixed that problem. We purchased the quite platform for the mattress, as well, and it really hasn't let us down. Very quiet and looks really nice. I love the clearance that we have from the floor to the platform. Overall, money well spent.

Completely worth the investment. It is so incredibly comfortable, supportive, and cured my anxiety-induced insomnia! No matter how stressed I am, my body can't help but sleep on Purple. When we had some trouble with our frame arriving, the customer service was nothing but helpful, and professional. Highly highly recommend!
