You'd think that being only 24, I would have a bad back and tired shoulders, but I'm already creaking and groaning like an old man. I had the same mattress for 19 years and then moved in with my girlfriend, who had had hers for 11. He back and hips hurt from her old mattress, and it didn't exactly help my back. We spent probably about a month looking high and low for a good mattress, and Purple came across my path. It seemed a little expensive, but reading the reviews helped convince me. The only bad ones I found were shipping, initial quality, or people with back pain significantly more than mine or my girlfriend's. We ordered our mattress on Sunday, and got it on Wednesday. Fast, free, easy. The mattress, sheets and frame all at the same time. We've had it for about 60 days so far and my girlfriend absolutely loves it. She hasn't felt this good in years. I only wake up sore if I sleep in my shoulder in a wonky position. It has relieved so much energy, it breathes really well, but I still need the blankets off because I like being cold. My back doesn't get sweaty while I sleep like my old memory foam add-ons did with my old bed. You can feel the two layers of firmness (soft top, firm underneath), and we both think that's why it helps our backs so much. Additionally, getting in/out of bed doesn't move the whole mattress, it's nice for sneaking out in the middle of the night for a snack. I am beyond glad we ordered a Purple mattress.

We have had for a few weeks and we aren't sure whether we will be keeping. It doesn't seem to solve any of of morning aches and doesn't provide a good night sleep. We went and stayed at a hotel and even at our kids and they are all seem to be the same. Our purple mattress seems to have softer spots and firmer sits, the bottom half seems softer for example, both when you lay or sit on it. The top half is firmer. We want to see though if we will adjust over time.

I was hesitant to purchase another mattress in a bag, as the previous mattress in a bag I owned did not fully plump out and was not as comfortable as I thought it would be. I was pleasantly surprised with how plump this mattress got and it is COMFORTABLE! I am happy I purchased this mattress and highly recommended it! It was packaged well, easy to set up (although it is HEAVY), the mattress cover and sheets are very soft and high quality. Buy this mattress!!

I LOVE the purple mattress and would buy it again "hands down"! It has been one of my smartest large purchases as a treat to myself. Over the years, I have purchased several expensive mattresses that pale in comparison to the comfort and support of the Purple Mattress. I've said "goodbye" to mattresses that break down and have coils that become painful over time, along with saying "goodbye" to back pain. I love the perfect body temperature balance that the Purple Mattress also provides. You will not regret this purchase and be glad you made the investment! Enjoy! P.S. Hi - I have had my original purple mattress for almost a month. I like it. My issues should be taken with the filter that I am at an extreme end of the bell curve. I am well under 5' and have arthritis in my hands. 1) the mattress slides on the foundation, but the weight makes it difficult for me to restore it to its proper position. The same is true of the purple pillow! I find the pillow more troublesome. 2) I am too short to get the advantage of the anti-gravity setting. I have to choose between fitting the hips or the knees. 3) the mattress, pillow, and sheets do not preclude the getting hot in the middle of the night. In this respect they are no different than previous mattresses. 4) the sheet set was too stretchy to enable me to make up the bed. I stopped using them. I reiterate, I like the bed and at the extreme end of the bell curve, but these are my honest experiences.

while sleeping on stomach, I can feel a good pressure on my knees. It is definitely a firm bed. I suffer from pretty severe back and nerve problems. If I sleep for too long, I feel a pain near my kidneys. I finally got to spend a regular length night of sleep this weekend, and woke with the same pain. It definitely isolates movement which is great and helps me sleep MORE uninterrupted.

Went to Mattress Firm to purchase a new mattress. After trying all the mattresses they had, all I had to do was sit on the Purple and I noticed a big difference from the others. However, when I laid down I was sold! I have back issues and every other mattress I've purchased literally would make the issue worse. After sleeping on the Purple, I woke up with no back pain, or tingling sensations I normally experience. If you are looking for a mattress, try Purple! You will NOT be disappointed!

I have bought purple mattresses in every size for people of all ages in my family. The old folks love them. The kids love them. The parents love them. the Dogs and cats love them too. Guests also make comments on their visits saying the slept so well and how nice the mattress is. So there you have it. It's the best mattress in the world.

We have enjoyed our Purple mattress. Is is especially effective at relieving any discomfort due to shoulder and hip pressure points. As a side sleeper I do wake up with unhappy legs--but perhaps that is "me" rather than the mattress. It is not hot or cold to sleep on. Just right. And when I get up in the night, my partner is not jostled. Thank you, Purple People.

I was skeptical at first. As a stomach sleeper, I'm a "hot sleeper"! My Purple Mattress is AMAZING! I stay cool all night long. The most comfortable mattress I have ever owned. We also purchased the Harmony Pillows which are on another level as far as pillows go. They're like sleeping on a cool cloud. We love them.
