We've had our Purple king sized mattress for around a month now, and overall it is working out well for us. The "hyper-elastic polymer" lattice shaped top layer works well for pressure relieving, and has a unique feel, as described by all the marketing. However, I would say the base layers of foam are more firm than we were expecting. That does make it quite supportive, but if you need a soft bed, this may not be for you. So far this has not been a problem for us, and perhaps as the bed ages it may become slightly less firm anyways. The other main reason we went with the Purple was because of the claims about cooling. Granted, we haven't hit the summer months yet, but I would say that the mattress definitely feels like it sleeps cooler than the pillow-top that we had before.

I cannot stop recommending the Purple to everyone I care about. I never looked forward to sleep until I slept on this mattress. The kind of quality sleep I get is a dream in itself... like sleeping in the most majestic of clouds. I can feel it being good for my health. A total game changer for my quality of life. I've been working out constantly and sore muscles/ back pain are everyday issues but every night I lay in bed and the mattress works some kind of magic because I wake up with absolutely no pain and ready to work out harder. I'm so happy with this purchase

Before getting our Purple, I would wake up with a lot of lower back pain. The first week of having our Purple was a little rough. There is an adjustment period where your body starts moving back to its natural alignment. But after two week, I no longer wake up with any back or shoulder pain!

I was expecting a soft cuddle, especially since it cradled an egg without it breaking. Instead it was very ordinarily firm (customer service it was a 6 in the firm scale). I experienced lower back pain after the first night night and continued for weeks after. Even though I followed all of the customer service recommendations, my back could not bare it after a 3 weeks. Unfortunately, this was not the perfect mattress for me or my wife.... Just to be clear, it was not a weight issue as others experienced. We are a active fit couple. I am 165 lbs / 5'-9" and my wife is 130 lbs / 5'-5"

We've been sleeping on the Purple mattress for 10 weeks and haven't looked back. One of us (male) was worried that it was going to be too soft - but it's not. It's pretty amazing how it conforms to our body. No sinking into a marshmallow and no pressure points. Our last mattress was too firm so I added a memory foam topper. I (female) sleep on my side. I was only getting about 3 hours of sleep before the pain in my hip would wake me. My sister has a new hybrid mattress or something with a memory foam pillow top. I tried it out. The memory foam on her mattress squishes under the hips, but provides not support for the waist. She sleeps with a small additional pillow under her waist. The Purple mattress would be an improvement for her. I wish I could afford to give one to everyone in my family. It's so comfortable that I don't find that I have to sleep on my side all night. I can be on my back comfortably for the first time in years. The alarm clock woke me in the morning instead of pain waking me in the night. That was after the first night. I was surprised to have slept the whole night. The Purple mattress feels temperature neutral to me. Not warm or sweaty; not cool and airy. Just comfy.

We've had ours for almost a month now and I can't tell you enough about how it's helped my back and neck pain!! I've been in two really horrific car accidents and my neck & back are just shot. I deal with chronic pain every day and used to wake up in the morning in so much pain, but since we got our purple bed, I fall asleep faster, sleep longer, and wake up in almost no pain - it's been a saving grace to me!!!

Ever since receiving our bed, my wife and I look forward to going to bed... not just for the stuff couples do... but for actually sleeping. The bed is extremely comfortable. I always run hot and my wife runs cold. We both however seem to be equally comfortable. I tend to toss and turn and while that previously would keep my wife awake, she sleeps soundly now in our Purple bed for 2 reasons. 1) I toss much less because I'm comfortable and 2) she can't feel my movement when I do move. I've been highly recommending this bed to all my friends. Not only is it extremely comfortable but also extremely affordable.

We bought a new mattress because our old one was sagging in the middle and giving me back ache at night. This bed solved that, however I have noticed that my arms are going numb, I think it is because it is too firm, however I need that for my back. Maybe the 3 inches of the purple stuff might be better. Can you offer that without the coils?
