When the bed was delivered, I didn't have the king base yet. I left it unraveled on my living room floor. Decided to try it out to see how it felt. OMG! I passed out within a couple of minutes and have no clue how long I was out; when I woke up, I felt like I had caught up sleep for my entire life! I could feel the coolness between my body and the mattress. My pressure points were relieved, and my spine was much more aligned! I have degenerative disc disease and osteoarthritis completely through my spine, and I'm only 36! Add that to the bulging discs in my sacrum area and my lordosis in my neck. Needless to say, I HURT! A bad bed won't cut it. We had a Tempur Cloud Supreme for the last 5-6 years, and it never felt right. Also, it got worse over the years. For a $3000+ bed, I figured I'd have the ultimate luxury for a minimum of 10 years. NOT SO!! After my first nap on the Purple bed, I knew this was THE one. We'll be in love forever, I can just feel it.

I'm a single person in the King size bed. I've owned it a year. Recently I've gotten a boyfriend, and it was then that I realized how sunk in my side mattress is compared to his (because no one slept on his side for a year). Cuddling, we called it the black hole, and found it uncomfortable! After a year, I'm considering getting a different mattress I'm really disappointed my mattress broke down this way.

I have a back problem, when i was 12 i fell down from 8 feet on my but and got a all the time pain in my back and i cant sleep at night without waking up at least 5-10 times. A couple of months ago i bought queen size mattress from purple. I was surprised that i only waked up 1 or 2 times at night which is really good for me , im really happy that i got this mattress cause im getting more sleep and feeling more eneregized at work.

I just got my Purple 3. There are so many mattress companies out there now. Which one do you choose?? I literally was doing research since early Summer. My old mattress was about 12 ys old and the Kingsdown and the body dent that developed had me rolling literally uphill every time I tried to move.. I'm a side sleeper, and change sides throughout the night. I'm also a bigger guy, about 275lbs. The first few nights on the new Purple I knew my bod was going to half to re-learn some things. I'm a week and half in and I can say, what a difference. It sleeps so cool compared to my old mattress, I'm looking for another blanket to put on the top of the bed at night. The mattress is no responsive as you move or roll. Off gassing, was minor but its not bad either.. The set up and the taking away of my old mattress to be properly disposed of was the clincher for me compared to the other mattresses I was looking at. Edge support is much better than I thought it would be too. After only two weeks, I couldn't be happier.

I don't think it's a bad mattress just not as good as it seemed to be. Don't like the purple part it's too firm and I feel stiff sleeping on it. The purple top forms to you're body but I always remember to feel the texture of it and always feel conscious about it. Over all not that bad but not what I expected considering the price .

I'm not sure where to start. I weigh 370ish and I am side/stomach sleeper, I prefer a harder mattress. My wife sleeps exclusively on her side and likes a soft mattress. We weren't sure how we would do with this bed, but after looking at reviews and researching all kinds of different beds we decided to take the plunge. I immediately fell in love with the mattress, it was comfortable, my arms stopped falling asleep, and I was getting good sleep. I love that I can sleep clear at the edge of the bed without falling off. It is comfortable to sit and read on. My biggest concern for me was my weight, would I just go all the way down and feel like I was sleeping on a hard platform, this just wasn't the case, it is super comfortable for me too. My wife took about a week to finally decide if she liked it or not, but now loves it. She is getting great sleep as well. She says she doesn't feel me rolling around, getting in and out of bed, etc... and the hardness isn't like a hard mattress, it still has give to it. It sleeps nice and cool and I am so glad we chose it over any other mattress.

This mattress is super comfortable. My fiance and I are very pleased with it. I have back problems from working in front of a computer and our old mattress just made it worse. Now it's hard to get up in the mornings because all I want to do is stay in bed. Definitely good for side sleepers.

We purchased a queen sized purple to replace our very old mattress. We also purchased the purple pillows. We are satisfied by both. When one of us is restless, we do not wake the other because the mattress absorbs motion and is quiet. We purchased one for our son as well-twin sized, and he seems to sleep sounder. We got the wider pillow for him, and really like the feel of it-very good support.

The mattress does a good job of conforming to my body but even so, it's just too firm for my particular needs. Lying on my back isn't comfortable at any time so I've been sleeping on my sides which inevitably leads to switching from one side to another several times during the night as the side I'm sleeping on becomes painful. I've slept on the mattress for seven nights so far.

Love it love it love it! I needed to go from a king to a queen size bed so I bought another one. This is the o my matrrsss I will ever buy again. Ever. I love it. Make sure you use the purple stretchy mattress cover and jersey type sheets so the bed isn't hard. That is the only complaint I have ever seen, but it is only because people don't read what they are told. This is the BEST mattress ever. I promise! Lol. Really, it is great!
