After 6 months of excruciating sciatica and lower back pain, I can't believe that after just a couple of weeks that I feel and am sleeping so much better. I typically have tossed and turned throughout the night and would be sore when I got up in the morning. Now I am only maybe rolling over once all night long and when I wake up I am just wanting to lay in bed and relax a little longer. Best nights sleep I have gotten in the past 10+ years!!

My boyfriend and I compete in track and field at the collegiate level and are prone to injury. He has severe back problems and I have hip problems due to competing in the hurdles. We have never slept so well on a mattress. Both of our back pain is beginning to go away and sleeping on the purple pillows has helped with the stiffness he gets in his neck. The sheets are the softest fabric I've ever slept on. We also cannot sleep if we get too hot but since we have gotten this mattress we have not had any issues waking up in a sweat or tossing and turning from being uncomfortably hot because of the cooling nature of the bed and pillows. I was a Marine Corps Infantrymen for 8 years. I suffer from herniated discs, nerve damage and insomnia. Simply sleeping in any position on any bed increases my pain. The best relief I'd find was "resting" on the recliner in a sitting position all night. I wouldnt really sleep and was constantly tired. The nights I actually slept in bed I would toss and turn so much that I started effecting my wife's sleep. This in turn made the recliner an EVEN better alternative to my bed. One night I saw that silly Purple commercial and said What the Heck and ordered a king, frame and covers. For the first time since i gave away my sleep and sanity to the Marine Corps i slept 8 HOURS!!!!! I felt like a human again. My attitude improved i felt positive and outgoing... and even if I get in and out of bed the motion didn't transfer to my wife so she sleeps all night too! Purple, I know you make profits and this is a business, but from the bottom of my heart thank you for giving me a little back of what I gave for the country. I thought no one cared for us, but you guys helped us out alot. Semper Fidelis. Keep up the good work

Excellently made product, helped out alot with my back pains from standing at work for 12 hours a day. Mattress is decently cool but the hybrid pillows are a must have with it. Only complaint about the purple mattress is that it feels like theirs a spot in the center where it formed some what of a body marking which is odd since its only 3 weeks old but othet than that it's a great mattress.

I had been waking up with back pains for a few months before we decided to buy a Purple mattress. Our neighbors across the street had recently bought a purple and they let us lay on it. I could tell there was a definite difference in support. We read about it online and decided to go for it. Great decision! My back pains went away in a couple of nights and have stayed away. We have now owned the purple mattress for a little over two months, and we've been very satisfied with the purchase.

Seems this matters has begun to sag after 6+ months. I can't sleep in the bed with a second person without some seriously bad back pain. It's such a shame I'll have to throw this mattress out after such a short time. It was great at first, but over time it is really compromising sleep :(

We got our Purple before I was pregnant and I loved it! My husband is a fitful sleeper and there is virtually no motion transfer. I didn't think I could love it more but now that I'm pregnant with our 3rd child I realize how great the support and temperature control is. Great bed!

I purchased this mattress because I am a big guy (6'1" 240) and sleep hot, and also because I've become accustomed to waking up with back pain. My girlfriend would often remark that sometime during the night, she'd have to retreat to the other side because I get so hot. I've been sleeping on the mattress about a week now, and it's everything that the ads say it is. From the first morning, my back pain was gone. Every night is more comfortable as I adjust to sleeping with support rather than on/in an old, low-quality foam mattress. I'm a skeptical guy who doesn't fall for gimmicks or brand loyalty or most of that mumbo jumbo... but I really love this mattress and will be buying the pillow soon! (Already splurged on the sheets and bought during the free protector promotion).

Um, buh-bye restless nights filled with tossing & turning. Buh-bye morning aches & pains. HellO blissful nights sleeping on a cloud!! We're 3 weeks in & we luv, luv, LUV our Purple Mattress! In fact, the Purple Mattress is SO great that the awful FedEx delivery experience is becoming a distant memory. And kudos to Katrina S in customer service who helped ease that pain. Yay! My husband and I had tried nearly every mattress on the market, pillow tops, memory foam, latex and for the last 5 years Sleep Number. My husband is a 100% disabled vet with serious low back pain and insomnia. I have Fibro and the nights are so painful I nearly cry every time I turned over. My niece introduced me to the purple mattress concept and after trying it out in the store we bought one. The first night I slept without pain and so deeply I barely remember turning over. I woke up feeling so great from the first truly restful sleep I've had in years. My husband took a few nights to adjust but loves the mattress now as much as I do. I think that if you have Fibro or other sleep and pain issues you should run, not walk to your local Purple store and try this mattress. It has changed my life, I hope it does that for you too.
