This mattress has been a life changer. My fiance is getting neck surgery and has always had issues with his back. He is a back sleeper and says he wakes up with less pain than he can remember in a long time. I am a side and stomach sleeper. This mattress is the perfect combination of firm and soft. I would highly recommend this mattress.

Before this bed got here, I wasn't able to reach above my head with my right arm. I am now able to scratch the top of my head! (This is a big deal to me.) I have not "gone BACK to bed" in over 10 years. As soon as I was awake, I had to get up. I now find myself going back to bed all the time. Had to move the alarm clock across the room though. I hardly wake up at night. I'm mad though. I wish I had spent this money years ago!

It was easy to unpack and install. Mattress is very comfy. I love that it circulates air beneath you better than other mattresses I've tried so you don't get as sweaty. The company should work to reduce their waste though: they shop these weird mini mattresses about the size of your hand with it, and I wish I could return the huge plastic duffel style bag it ships in. These items are now cluttering our home as I haven't found a way to recycle or repurpose them yet to keep them out of the landfill.

wife and I are on the fence with original purple after 2 weeks. She doesn't like it - says pain in am.. I have reasonable relief from lower back pain / fatigue as compared to old memory foam mattress, but seem to be stiff in upper back and have some shoulder pain in am for last week or so. Still in trial period...

I found out about Purple via a YouTube ad. (For the record, the ad pulled me in, and accordingly, it may have been the first YouTube ad I've ever watched in its entirety.) I was intrigued by the science of the Purple Mattress, as I was looking for some relief from chronic lower back pain. I decided to purchase a Queen (Original) mattress. My expectations were high, and the mattress has NOT disappointed. It took a few days for my body to get used to the mattress, but now, I feel a LOT more rejuvenated after a night of sleep. I don't toss and turn like I used to because of back pain. The Purple Mattress is so comfortable. I'm a fan!

We had originally purchased our Purple mattress about a year or so ago, however, when the sides started to sag, the company sent us a new mattress for free! We have fallen in love with it all over again. I'm a tummy sleeper, and even amidst the woes of pregnancy, I slept soundly. My husband is a side sleeper, and unfortunately(?) he now sleeps so soundly, he hardly wakes up for work in time! Good for him, maybe bad for his boss. We will always highly recommend this mattress to anyone who has an ear, and wants to listen to us gab over a bed... Yes, it really is THAT life changing. Do yourself a favor, do the thing. Get the bed.

Other than the deliver time, this is a great product. I don't wake up with shoulder/neck pain. It is the perfect combo between hard and soft mattresses. Though, I am not looking forward to moving it to our new house because of the weight, but there isn't much they can do about that.

This is the third mattress we've purchased. The previous two were purchased prior to the addition of new options (all three are the basic purple). The newest one feels slightly different (a little squishier) than the previous two and is SUPER comfy. I gave five stars on the previous reviews and would give the newest purchase 6 stars.

I am 68 years old with severe arthritis in my knees and back, plus I was in a serious car accident in 2002, which has left me with permanent back issues and a weight gain of almost 100 pounds! Over the years I have tried everything on the market to try and get a good night's sleep, up to and including the premier sleep number adjustable bed. On top of that bed I placed another 4 inch memory foam topper... Still waking up every two or three hours stiff and in pain and needing to shift my position. I have ten pillows on my bed to help configure a comfortable position. Now comes the miracle of your purple mattress. My daughter and I unpacked it and placed it on top of my sleep number bed (so I have a high bed!) We both laid on it and in minutes all the pain left our bodies! Couldn't believe it! Long story short... There have been 3 times in the past few weeks when I didn't have to set my alarm... On each of those occasions I slept for 12 hours! I was in the same position I fell asleep in! I couldn't believe it! And my back wasn't stiff or screaming at me! I know in my heart that as my body receives the healing sleep it needs, my health will improve. My daughter has already brought two of her friends over to lay on my bed! She will be ordering her own soon! Thank you for giving me hope that soon I can return to vibrant health! Thank you for making this gift of restorative sleep affordable and worry free for people to try! (Many of us who really need your bed are either on social security or disability fixed income). This is by far the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. My wife loves a soft bed and I definitely prefer a firm one. Purple meets us right in the middle with undeniable comfort. I have never slept better. I keep looking for flaws, but it just keeps getting better and better.
