I actually bought this for my wife's grandmother who has been sleeping on an old saggy spring mattress for years. She's recently undergone back surgery which in my opinion was caused by the horrible mattress she's slept on! But we got her the purple to sleep on after her surgery and she loves it! She's about 80 years old and she said she's never slept so good! The purple helps her sleep comfortably while also assisting her to spring out of bed in the morning! I was a little nervous because of her back surgery but she said she absolutely loves it. Another happy customer! Thanks again Purple gang!

It took me a few nights to adjust to this mattress but now I love it. I used to wake up with shoulder pain from sleeping on my side from my old hard mattress. After about a week the pain was almost gone, and is much better now. The mattress feels a little firm at first but really evenly supports the whole length of your body because of the honey cone top layer. Well worth the money.

The Purple mattress has changed my life entirely. My old spring mattress would cause me to wake up after a full 8 hours feeling like I slept 30 minutes. The Purple mattress has me in a deep sleep feeling well rested every morning. All aches and pains I felt when I slept awkwardly have gone away since upgrading to a Purple mattress. Summer nights used to cause me to throw my covers off. Now that I have Purple I can keep my covers on and still feel cooled off. Would I buy it again? Yes 100x. I recommend it to my family and friends to try and better their lives. If anyone comes to visit and haven't already, they are forced to come lay on our new bed.

I am blown away so far!! Received my king mattress, cover, purple pillows, sleep mask, sheets 5 days from when I placed my order, a week before Christmas and it's so wonderfully comforting!! I can't wait to experience rest! Christmas bonus money well spent!!

LOVED it at first. I saw other commenters who said it was too hard- it is pretty hard at first, but I liked that. Over the course of the year we've had it, it has gotten way too soft. I can feel the plywood (didn't get a box spring) we have underneath of it. There is a hard spot still in between where my husband and I sleep and when he's not in the bed I like to sleep on that. I'm not sure how much longer it's going to last. We might have to buy a new mattress in another year or so.

I will never buy another type of bed if it's not Purple. I can honestly say it is the best bed I have ever laid on and have support where I need it and not just sink in. I really thought it was advertised as better than it would be but like alot of stuff out there but this bed is amazing I really love this bed. Thanks

We've had our Purple mattress for about two years and every night when I lay down I think - why did I even get out of bed this morning? It is SO perfectly comfortable, it amazes me every time I lay on it. I never wake up sweaty, any position I'm in is comfortable and I seriously love the peace of mind knowing it's not going to start sagging or giving out on the edges. We also got the Purple sheets and the first-gen Purple pillow, and the combination of these three things have made me reluctant to travel because I don't want to sleep on anything but them. I do travel with my 10 pound Purple Pillow every time I spend the night somewhere, it's that good. I could not imagine a better mattress than my Purple.

My wife and I spent months researching new beds. Our old memory foam mattresses was killing our backs and sleep. After laying in tons of beds we decided on purple. It was really bouncy but soft at the same time. A weird feeling for sure. After a week or so we are in love. You have to buy the sheets that they sell. They are sooo soft and stretch perfectly with the bed. I get now why they recommend them so much. We are 3 weeks in and find ourselves going to bed hours earlier than usual. My numb shoulder and hip pain are gone. We are so happy with our purchase. We bought the original bed. Can't imagine how nice the higher end models are. Bottom line is the price is beyond reasonable. Thanks for all the work to build such a great bed. We would have loved to add the adjustable base but the price is way to high. Hope that changes as some point.

After researching beds, I finally settled on a Purple 2. I was a little nervous buying a bed online, but the 90 nights test, no hassle returns and free shipping helped me take the plunge. Plus, who won't love a company that also has the option for free set up too? I am a combination sleeper and have found the Purple to be the best bed I have had. Supportive, but flexible on pressure points. My back has never felt so good! Thanks, Purple!

First off let me start this review by saying my wife and I love our bed. We ordered the New Purple 3. Now before I get into details about the bed I want to address one major problem. My issue is not with the mattress or even the company Purple. My issue and frustration was and is with Manna the shipping company contracted by Purple. I ordered our bed on March 21st. I waited a few about 2 weeks before calling because I had not got a confirmation of shipment. I was told by a representative at Purple that they were back ordered and it could be up to two more weeks before my order was made and shipped. Understandable. So I waited two more weeks and called again. This was where the trouble started. Purple confirmed that they had in fact shipped my bed and that it was being transported by a company named Manna. I was given a tracking number and asked to call back if there were any more problems. I waited a few more days and started tracking the shipment. They had it for a month and I called them 6 times trying to locate it and no one could give a direct answer. The nightmare that company caused was unacceptable and should not be tolerated. Long story short Manna took a month to ship it and I had to go pick it up myself in Philadelphia because they said they couldn't deliver it for another two weeks after they "found it". Let me tell you what I trust more than Manna. Bill Cosby to take my wife out to dinner. Casey Anthony to babysit my children. Roseanne to tweet for me. Hillary Clinton to manage my computer server. Bernie Madoff with my retirement fund. FEMA to take care of me after a hurricane. Now that you understand the type of incompetence that you will get from Manna let me tell you about our Purple bed. It is absolutely amazing. I served in Iraq. My body is not it top condition. I have never slept on a bed that I don't remember sleeping on. That's how good I sleep. When you lay down it's super comfortable. When I move it's easy and doesn't disturb my wife. My wife also loves the bed. Her lower back problems have subsided and she too sleeps completely though the night. I without a doubt we will be purchasing this bed again
