I purchased the original purple mattress because my old mattress hurt my back. The original purple mattress took about 3 weeks to break in, now my back pain has mostly went away.Overall the mattress is comfortable and has alleviated a lot of my back pain. I bought a full size mattress and believe the price for an original purple full size mattress is a bit over priced.

My fiancé and I absolutely LOVE this mattress! Super comfortable, at the beginning you kind of have to get used to it which took me a about a week but now we both get the best sleep. My fiancé suffered from lower back problems due to an accident and this purchase has definitely made a deference for the better.

Very difficult to explain how much my wife and I anticipated the arrival of our Purple King. We have owned several other products from those other companies. Purple is something very different. You could not have made me believe I could wake up each morning and not have back and shoulder pain. I watched all the videos, and read the reviews like this one... but there was no way I could understand until we had our very own Purple King. Best purchase I have made in 10 years easy. The mattress is wonderful. There are nights that I wake up and I have been in the exact same position as when I first laid down to sleep. Very happy that my back and shoulders are pain free. I've not had enough experience yet to rate this product. I purchased it because my former mattress was too firm and was causing hip pain and stiffness. Purple has addressed that issue, but now I have new pain and stiffness, in both shoulders. I am experimenting with use of the pillow, but haven't found a solution.

I have been sleeping on a Tempur-pedic mattress for years. And for years I woke up with stiff back, shoulders and neck. Before about the purple mattress I will wake up each night and spend 30 minutes stretching before I could go back to sleep. My first night on the purple mattress, I slept through the night! The mattress stays much cooler than other mattresses I've owned and is very comfortable.

This is the Review for the Power Base. It worked fine for few months, one fine morning it stopped working. It's currently in up-right position and couldn't flattened. Called Customer Support where we can only leave the messages and then they can call us back. But I never received any calls. Chatted with Support people at purple.com and they gave me 1-800 number. I called that number, they took all the information and said 'we marked it as urgent/emergency - someone will call you ASAP'. No one get back to me until now. Very bad customer support. They don't have any Case number system to refer- back. Every time they collect all the information and no one calls back. Purple - It's better if you change your Customer Support System.

Very, very comfortable, and lives up to its advertising. The only thing is I've been sleeping on a 30 year old crappy mattress for so long that my back had to adjust to being supported again! For the first few days I woke up stiff and sore and thought "huh, gimmick". But after about a week, I've never slept or felt better. I think my back just had to get used to being properly aligned while sleeping. Now I'm like, "is it bedtime yet?" Definitely lives up to the hype. I'd definitely recommend!

My entire experience with Purple has been amazing. The ordering process was simple, quick and painless. The communication from Purple and the freight company was also fantastic. The delivery and setup was excellent. Most importantly the mattress is literally the most comfortable mattress we have ever owned. My husband and I had purchased the regular coil, foam, hybrid of coil and foam. We never found any of them to be great and we bought top brand name mattresses. The first night sleeping on the Purple mattress we knew this was the one. We love it and are so pleased with our purchase. Best night sleep in a long time! Pet approved as well...our dog loves it!

First of, this company has some of the best customer service I have even experienced, either by calling them in person or sending them an email. I love my mattress, hands down. I am so pleased on my decision to buy it. I have been sleeping on this mattress going on 6 months now and it's awesome. I did tons of research comparing this mattress to other ones like it and the Purple seems to always be the best. My only advice would to be make sure you get the Purpl Platform Base. This mattress is VERY heavy so it makes my current wooden box spring creak when I move. But even with that minor annoyance, this mattress is worth ever last cent.

I bought this because of the extended video ad and the money-back guarantee. I like it a lot. I could be a *little* softer for my taste, but I'm going to keep it. When I lie down at night I say to myself, 'self, this is the most comfortable mattress in the universe." But around 2 or 3 a.m., when I'm lying on my side, I think, 'gravity is strong tonight, and I wish this had a little more give, 'cause my shoulder kinda hurts." But overall a very good mattress.
