I had my doubts. But decided to give it a try. I absolutely love this mattress. I tend to toss and turn a lot and never get much sleep. This mattress cradles your body so you don't wake up stiff and aching. And it's the best sleep I've gotten in a long time!

I've been sleeping on a competitors's mattress for just over 2 years. Though it was fine, it never felt as comfy as I wanted. I decided to try the Purple sight unseen and from the first night I knew this was exactly the mattress I was looking for. It has just the right amount of cush that I was looking for. My hips don't hurt as I am a side sleeper. I turn over with ease. I truly love my new Purple mattress.

Night 1 Sleep took about 30 minutes to fall asleep, which is about 20 minutes longer than normal. I still woke up at least twice once when my wife crawled into bed and a second time at 0200 because I was cold, I blame the ceiling fan which was on medium instead of low. I did not wake up earlier or before my alarm, which is usually the way I wake up in the morning about 15-30 minutes before my alarm, although I did go to bed 1 hour later due to my daughter's soccer game. When I woke up I did not have the nagging back pain I usually have in the morning and my neck felt better. My old mattress would be like a cocoon around me as I sank in about 8 inches over the night. This morning I woke up on top of the mattress. My last mattress was a Sealy perfect night sleeper which I would have bought again except it was difficult to figure out which mattress I actually bought last time because every mattress store does not disclose the mattress the same. The Sealy was the first spring, memory foam combo with cooling gel on top. We flipped the mattress almost religiously, every Sunday, and rotated it for the past 16 years. I'm pretty sure it is dead and will go downstairs to be a guest mattress now, that way guest won't want to stay very long. Night 2 Well only took about 10 minutes to fall asleep but woke up when spouse was fighting with the door, didn't feel her get into bed though. I still woke up about three times last night but was able to quickly fall asleep. Bed is firm but you get used to it fast. I still didn't wake up with back pain last night but I still don't feel like I wake up refreshed although it is only day two. I will check my Fitbit to see if I am sleeping better. I will keep you posted. Night 3 Well last night was a quick flop on the bed and off to sleepy land I went. I still woke up three times when my spouse's phone went off, although she appeared to not even twitch at the sound. I'm starting to think that this is a great mattress if you want your spouse to sleep well but you still need to get up and take care of stuff around the house for them because they are going to be out like a light. My spouse did wake up this morning to tell me that she feels like she is going to fall off the bed, but she is actually sleeping in the middle of the mattress and forcing me off my purple mattress, so I don't understand what she is saying. Once again no back pain waking up, so that is at least a good thing. Night 4 The sheets are now on the bed and they feel just like silk sheets but stretchy. Best thing about the sheets is my spouse can't steal all the sheets because they stretch so much that I actually maintain some possession of the sheets throughout the night. Night 4 same as previous, wake up because spouse comes to bed and bangs the door closed. Able to fall back asleep but still woke up twice that night, slight twing of back pain waking up but nowhere near the previous mattress. Night 5-7 Over the last 3 nights there has been very little difference in the amount of times I've been woken up by other people in the house and the non-existent back pain in the mornings. The sheets probably took the most amount of time to get use to because they are kind of slippery. As you lie on the bed you sort of mold into a position after sleeping on the mattress, maybe about 3 minutes of very slight, very gradual movement. Final opinion-Will likely come back and give a weekly/monthly or yearly review For the price the original purple mattress is just about as good as you can get. If you don't like it after a few weeks, you very well won't like anything. My FITBIT sleeping data is about the same amount of movement over the night which from me wasn't much. My spouse on the other hand has been a restless sleeper for the past 5 years until the purple mattress, she doesn't move at all now. In short, love your spouse, buy a purple.

I've had a traditional mattress for decades, and two years ago I tried a very good direct-ship brand foam mattress. It was honestly a toss up between a Purple and this other brand. It felt great initially coming from a 12 year old traditional, but even a few months in I noticed myself waking up in the middle of the night with shoulder pains from sleeping on my side. Enter the Purple Mattress! We got one for our guest room and I've slept on it for about 10 nights, but already there is a huge difference in how I sleep. No more shoulder pain. When I lay on my side, the magic sponge sleep thing just absorbs my shoulder but supports the rest of my torso. Really neat science stuff. Wish I'd tried it two years ago.

After over 20 something years of sleeping on mattresses that didn't have support, the first night on this mattress felt like a dream. No pressure points on my hips which I normally get with my old mattresses. However when I woke up, I had this killer neck and shoulder pain. It carried on for about a week so I caved and bought a temperpedic side to side support pillow. It relieved the pain and I was left with a dull ache for another week. But on the 3rd week, my neck and shoulder pain was gone and now I feel great. I guess my body was over compensating for the 20 something years of lack of support so now my body had to readjust to a supportive mattress.

After using this mattress for a couple of weeks I can notice that I wake up with so much less aches and pains. I fall asleep so much quicker on this mattress than I ever have on any other mattress and I wake up feeling refreshed from a good night's sleep every morning.

I was waking up with back pain and headaches frequently. Regardless of having a 3 inch mattress topper, my mattress just wasn't cutting it. I started looking into the purple mattress because a close friend of mine had suggested it. (Owns a purple matress too) Needless to say, I made the switch to the purple mattress about a month ago and I haven't looked back since!

I bought a new house and I decided I would upgrade from a full sized to a queen sized mattress. I'm keeping my full sized Purple mattress for the other bedroom. I've been sleeping on a Purple for the past 3 years, and I'll never go back to an ordinary mattress.

We have slept on a foam bed for years but they just dont hold up. We love this purple bed no sagging , or depressions in the bed. I love that the emails were funny. Fast delivery just took a couple days, and yes I tracked it every day. I would buy it again. and will send another message as time passes. so far we love it

I love my Purple 2 Queen bed! Having lived in student housing for 4 years on a double, this bed is welcomed change! I don't even want to leave my bed when I wake up in the mornings because it is such a great mattress and I have been getting such great sleep. My back pain is gone now and I fall asleep faster than I have ever before! I can now fall asleep in about 15 minutes and before It felt like an hour before I could sleep. This bed is extremely comfy and when you pair it with the sheets it's beyond amazing. Never getting another type of mattress again!
