I've literally never slept so hard in my life. I work 48 hour shifts in a fire dept. We aren't provided the best mattresses in the world here with how many people we have, but when I get home I sleep amazingly now with the Purple mattress. Before I'd toss and turn and wake up with back pain. Never again. I wish I'd have sprung for the pillow now too. I may even end up buying a twin size mattress for my room at work!

I've noticed decreased pain in my left hip (which I've had for a couple of months now; I was going to go to the doctor if it didn't resolve soon) sleeping on my new mattress. It's not a super luxurious-pillowy sensation as I expected, which is actually good. I'm in less pain and I don't have trouble getting up in the morning.

I purchased the Queen sized Purple 4 mattress, and it is seriously life changing!! It is so supportive and comfortable, I don't wake up in a sweat anymore, I'm sleeping through the night, and I don't feel achy when I wake up. If you are on the fence like I was about buying a Purple mattress, trust me when I say to go for it and treat yourself!! Best decision I made. I love Purple.

This is by far the most comfortable mattress I've ever slept on. I'm a nurse and I've been dealing with back issues for years. This is the first time in my life I'm waking up without back pain. It's a miracle. I love love love this mattress!!! Truly life changing.

Now, I've done a lot of research with all these different type beds in a box/bag, on which is the best. Purple drew my attention with their Egg Test video and the sleep cool from their polymer. The Egg Test is what drew my attention the most to Purple. I work at a moving company and my body is always taking a beating and I've played many years of football through the collegiate level and I just needed something that would help relieve a lot of that stress that my body has endured and/or will be enduring from active lifestyle. The first night with my Purple mattress was a little sore, but I believe that was due to work and my body adjusting to a complete new mattress, but even then, the next morning I woke up with with a little refresh feeling in my body. After several days, I definitely noticed a difference from my body waking up more and more refreshed. It without a doubt, also sleeps very cool, which to me, is amazing due to me sleeping hot and other competitors saying that they sleep cool, but don't. I was also fortunate enough that with the purchase of my Purple mattress, I also got the mattress protector for half off (#winning). I have a dog so getting that mattress protector was an absolute must. I also purchased the bed sheets (they are amazingly soft!!) and even with the mattress protector and bed sheets, the Purple mattress sleeps with cool. The only negative, and part of me doesn't even want to consider it one since it is so minor depending on who you are, is there is a smell to the Purple mattress upon opening it up and laying it out. I'm assuming that's due to how it was packaged when put together, but the smell does go away within a couple days. On a side note, I currently have an ISO cool pillow and I used to love it a ton, but after getting the Purple mattress, my pillow, I feel, has been making my neck and shoulders sore. I don't know exactly if that's from that pillow not being able to support the way it used to with my old mattress, but I'm definitely considering the Purple pillow. I've had my Purple mattress for almost two weeks now, I absolutely love it, and would strongly recommend to anybody!

I bought this mattress for my 10 year old son and he absolutely loves it! Previously, he had bunk beds that he hated sleeping in so he would always say, "Mom, if you get me a Purple mattress, I'll sleep in my room every night." He wasn't kidding! I can't hardly get him out of his bed! I have tested the mattress out a few times and will be buying one for myself when the time comes to replace my mattress. We love the Purple mattress!

So, a while back, my husband and I had been having a lot of back and shoulder and hip pain. We had trouble sleeping through the night, and we were searching desperately for a solution to our horrible old box spring mattress. I'll be honest, we were super hesitant about purchasing a mattress online, and we're poor college students so we didn't really want to spend a ton of money on a mattress. There seemed to be a lot of cheaper mattresses than the Purple mattress, but we really wanted something quality that could last for a long time. And, I kept running into Purple's advertisements (and lets be honest, their marketing is on point, so I was super intrigued) and I started pitching the idea to my husband to purchase it. And eventually, one night, I convinced him. (Plus if we didn't like it we could just get our money back! So why not?!) And let me tell you.... it was one of the best decisions I've ever made. We sleep so well. I hate going to visit family or sleeping in hotels because I can't sleep on my amazing mattress. It. Is. Like. Sleeping. On. A. Cloud. Except, the cloud is firm enough to support your body, and soft enough to cradle you like a baby. Seriously, it's amazing. So seriously, do it. You know you want to. Also, here's a few notes and details about our experience in case you're still hesitant: -My husband is about 225 lbs and I'm about 160 lbs. He sinks into the mattress a lot better than I do, but I still find it amazingly comfy -I sleep on my sides, and the shoulder pain I used to feel has completely vanished -He sleeps on his back, and he asks me for back rubs less often now...good deal, really -We've had our mattress a little over a month now, so we have given ourselves time to really get used to it before writing this review -You might want to get some stretchy sheets or a stretchy mattress protector. For the first week, we had a sorta thick mattress pad on top of the mattress, and while it was still comfy, we weren't getting the full sinking-in experience. We took it off and now we just have our regular sheets (which aren't really stretchy) and we feel the bed much better. However, the fitted sheet doesn't like to stay on the mattress, since the mattress does flex with your body, so we have to fix it every day. Slight annoyance, for the price of basically sleeping on a bunny rabbit -If you're thinking you're just gonna lay on this mattress and sink in like the raw eggs in the video, you're wrong. The mattress will bend to your body to an extent, but you're not gonna sink completely. The gel-y stuff it's made from is firm, so you really do get the support you need, but squishy enough to bend so you are super comfy -My husband and I wake up with so much more energy than we used to, and I actually sleep through the night!! -We bought the Purple mattress base with our mattress, which is super awesome, and we've found that the bed stays in place for the most part -It's awesome. Give it a try! It might just change your entire sleeping routine!

First off a bed I can finally sleep in comfortably! I have a broken lumbar spine along with Hip Dysplasia and dont sleep much from pain or only being able to lay in one spot for so long. I've also been blessed with Insomnia that only perscription medication treats (this has been for 24 years) then I bought a purple mattress. I've never napped naturally in my life let alone gotten 8 hours natural sleep and this mattress let's me nap naturally but also I'm taking less of my sleeping medication and getting more natural healthy sleep. I'm also able to sleep and just cuddle for hours with no pain. My husband and I are such big fans we both had to get our own purple pillows, purple sheets, purple blankets and a purple pet bed. We're Purple Fans for Life! 10/10 Best Mattress I've ever had period.

What's amazing is that it cradles all your heavy joints and keeps your spine aligned. The only issue is that it kept me in one position for so long and I almost felt sore because of it. I need a little movement and variety besides sleeping on my back. This bed is not for varied & side sleepers.

We bought a purple mattress in 2016, it was the largest, heaviest mattress I've ever picked up, and I worked for a moving company! It was perfect for my herniated disc and low back injury. But overtime covaved where I sleep (I am 6ft3in 250lbs). So purple hooked us up with our new mattress. This mattress is obviously slimmer and lighter. It doesn't seem to have the same support or comfort that our first mattress had.
