My girlfriend and I had just bought our first house together, and we needed a new bed. We researched and researched, and found that the Purple mattress was our best option. So we got the Purple Queen-sized mattress. It was the best sleep we've ever gotten, and years of back pain had simply disappeared! As years passed, we got a couple of dogs who love to cuddle in the bed. We knew we needed something bigger, but just weren't ready to drop the cash yet. Then our dog Champ was sprayed by a skunk...and we stupidly didn't purchase a mattress protector! Our beloved Purple bed was ruined, and we urgently needed to upgrade. We tried some other beds at the store, but nothing was like our Purple bed. So we bit the bullet, and purchased the King-sized original Purple mattress. Thank you to Purple we got free sheets for our new bed, and we also decided to spend that extra bit of cash for the mattress protector! Now we are about a month in to our new Purple bed, and we couldn't be more pleased. The mattress protector is working extremely well, and the sheets are the most comfortable I have ever felt in my life!!! Very stretchy and unbelievably soft. Whatever size bed you need, get a Purple. Spend that extra money for the mattress protector and sheets, and you'll never think to look back.

My husband and I have searched high and low for the perfect mattress for a long time. Mattress shopping has to be the worst thing in the world! Can you really imagine sleeping all night on something you laid on for 2 minutes in a store?! Then you haul the thing home to find out you hate it. The fact that this was delivered to our door and there was a no hassle 100 day trial we had nothing to lose! It has been the best purchase we have made in a long time. No regrets here!

My husband and I received our Purple 3 about six weeks ago and I have waited in order to give an accurate review. I did months and months of online research, looking at tons off different online mattresses all the while sleeping on the couch. Our pillow top mattress had turned into a torture device and sleeping was miserable. My first criteria was 100% American made....thank you, Purple!! I went to a mattress store and tried out all the expensive brands and was not 100% sold on any of them. When I realized I could buy a queen size Purple 3 for less than the Tempurpedic I was sort of considering, there was no question. I returned home and placed my order! The Purple 3 is hands down the most comfortable mattress my husband or I have ever slept on. Honestly, for the first few nights I wasn't so sure. As someone with chronic lower back pain, and after waking from the first night on the Purple 3, I had stiffness in other areas of my back and hips. My spine was being realigned!! After about 3 nights, the majority of my back pains were gone. I am a combination sleeper and tend to move around at night. I have no trouble turning or getting out of the Purple 3. It's so responsive it's almost as if it gives you a boost!! My husband is someone who could sleep on a rock if need be. He says the quality of his sleep on the Purple 3 is incomparable to anything else and he didn't realize how well he wasn't sleeping on our not so old pillow top. We can move around and get in and out of bed without waking each other. This mattress is silent!! The hyper elastic polymer grid is unlike anything I've ever slept on, thus hard to describe. It's sort of like a room temperature, supportive water bed that's been filled with springy gel. Every night I sink into bed, relax immediately and fall asleep quickly. I have no more aches or pains from my neck, hips or tailbone. My back pain has considerably improved and I no longer feel stiff in the morning. My husband's shoulder pain has disappeared. We could not be more satisfied with our purchase and we will never buy another brand! Thank you, Purple, for this amazingly comfortable, 100% American made mattress. Purple for the win!!

Very comfortable mattress. About the same as the sleep number that I had before it. Hope it lasts as long. I had that mattress for 22yrs. Seems a little hot at times. Maybe it's just me. Also, can't put any covers on the mattress as it makes it not as comfy.

Since switching to Purple, I'm sleeping more soundly and waking up without pain. We're a bed-sharing family so we have four people in our king-size bed. Before, I would wake up throughout the night with neck and sciatic pain from being contorted on the edge of the bed. I find that with Purple, the kids sleep more soundly and move less, giving me more space to sleep in comfort.

I cannot believe how supportive this mattress is - and without a box spring! It really does conform to even my low back when I'm lying on my back. I never thought the wire frame would be enough. Very happy I took the chance on Purple. Now we'll see how long it lasts. Fingers crossed!

I've had my Original Purple Mattress for a few weeks now and so far I can say that the mattress is has let me sleep through the night without waking as apposed to my old pillowtop mattress. However, the mattress is a bit firm for my liking. Maybe upgrading to the newer versions would help me out on this since they have a thicker material.

I feel like a king on my new mattress, love how tall the mattress feels on the platform and how steardy the platform is. The mattress is the most comfortable thing I've ever slept on. It only takes me minutes after lying down and I'm out for the whole night. My back has not hurt once since sleeping on my new mattress which I'm very thankful for. I've also noticed how cool I feel during the night and I'm not throwing covers on the floor like I use to. Totally worth the money.

I bought a queen size , 3" purple mattress with an adjustable frame about 3 months ago and it is the best purchase that I have ever made!! The mattress is so comfortable, I feel like I am floating. I have hip issues that used to be painful at night and would wake me up, not anymore. I used the white glove delivery and they were great. The only problem that I had was that the adjustable frame was bent so I refused delivery and sent it back. It did take me a few calls to get it straightened out, but about 3 weeks later it was delivered and set up for me. The adjustable frame is great. I love having the snore button which helps not only snoring but the acid reflux that used to bother me at night. I wanted to buy a king size mattress and adjustable frame but the frame only comes split on king size and I did not want a split adjustable frame. Other than that I am extremely happy with my purchase. The sheets are great too, love them. Some say that there is an odor when you first get your mattress but I did not experience this. I bought the pillow too and there was some odor with the pillow. I like the pillow, it keeps me cool but I wish it was a little thicker like maybe an inch. I love my mattress, it's so comfortable that it's hard to get out of it every day!!

I received my purple mattress today. I was horrified after laying on it an hour that my clothes and hair smelled like what I can only describe as cat urine odor. I sniffed the purple and I turned green. My kids walked in and held their nose and ran out. I do not own any pets. I immediately contacted Purple and got sent an email to take a picture. What? Exactly what does a picture of an odor look like? I'm curious. What is this chemical on my hair and clothes and now filled up my home smelling like cat urine. Im going to call my State attorney General and find out what chemical my family is being expised to by Friday if Purple doesn't help me immediately remove this cat odor mattress from my home and refund me immediately.
