Our Purple was delivered exactly as promised. The unrolling process was fun(ny), the tube doesn't look nearly big enough, then BAM, out pops your full size mattress. The mattress is equitable supportive and squishy. At 1st touch it feels overly firm, but as soon as you lay down its almost like its cradling every curve of you (side or back sleeping). Also, the heat retention of this mattress is 0. I almost miss the warm spot you get from crawling back in bed in the middle of the night, but then I get back in bed and realize how comfortable my new mattress is and forget all about it.

Best sleep ever! Firm for your back, yet soft on pressure points. Get the Purple sheets and mattress cover for your mattress to function as designed (they need to stretch along with the mattress's top layer). Give it a few weeks to get used to and you'll be early to bed, late to rise.

At first it was amazing, but as the nights go by my boyfriend and I just can't get comfortable enough to fall asleep. I want to be able to sink into the mattress a little more, since I weigh so little it doesn't feel like my hip and shoulder is sinking in. We're going to keep trying the mattress for a few more weeks but I'm disappointed.

I will preface this with I donated my mattress to charity, after determining it was for me. But, I think this bed will work for a lot of people so I'd like to share my likes and dislikes. Hopefully this helps your decision! Ordering the bed was easy. I actually jumped on the chat service to discuss which bed would be best for me. The customer service agent was nice and helpful. I ordered the Purple 2.0 with the free option of Purple bed sheets. Shipping was easy and no issues there. However, the bed came before the sheets. Which was a little annoying as the sheets I did have didn't really fit well on it. So, I kinda hope they fix that. Otherwise this process was good. Sleeping on the bed. So, I love the feel of this bed. It's very unique. Many people refer to the feel like sleeping on a gel pad. I would agree. The bed is a bit softer than expected and kinda bouncy. I tried this bed for about 3-35 days before decided to begin the return option. I'm just under 6 feet and about 280 pounds. On my back, I'm not sure another bed could beat the comfort level. However, I'm not a fan of sleeping on my back. So while it felt good, it's not my desired position. On my side, it felt good, but I felt that my hips sunk in too far and it made my shoulder and neck a little out of alignment so I would wake up with a sore upper body. I primarily fall asleep and spend a good portion of time on my side. I've had back issues in the past and as a result I sleep on my stomach a lot. This mattress was just too soft for stomach sleeping. My back bent more than what I experienced on my 6 year old cheap memory foam bed. Because of the stomach sleeping issue, that's what made me decide to return it. I would say though. A more moderately sized individual would probably really enjoy sleeping on this. I just think I'm too big for it's support level. And the Purple 2.0 is the firmest model they have. The 4.0 is considered the softest. I'd also mention that at times I felt like I was ending up in the middle of the mattress. Almost like through the night I would "roll" to the middle. Returning the mattress. This was a very easy process. The customer service agent was very friendly and helped with all my questions. Purple gives about 3-5 options for return. Have someone they choose pick it up for recycle, donate it to charity, extend your trial to see if you change your mind and another one that slips my mind right now. I chose donating it to charity. A great option. I'm glad they allow that rather than sending it to be recycled or dumped at a landfill. All I needed to do was fill out a form stating my choice of return, contact a charity, then provide a picture back to Purple of a receipt from that charity proving it had been donated. Within a few days of providing the receipt I was refunded in full! Lastly, I would like to say, this is a unique bed that may work for a lot of people. If you are willing to take a chance I would recommend trying it for sure. With a 100 percent refund guarantee, why not try it. You may love it! And I suspect a lot of people do. I tip my cap to Purple for their desire to innovate and create something new. I will continue to follow them and if I see changes to the firmness I will likely try it out in the future. The mattress is comfortable, but I sleep on my stomach with my face directly on the mattress, and you can feel the purple grid. It also hurt my back when sitting inclined on an adjustable bed frame. It's definitely worth a shot to see if it works for you. The return process is easy. The Purple sheets are the best I've ever had; extremely high quality.

Been using the King Size Purple Mattress for about two weeks now, and already sleeping better and not waking up with any muscle aches and pains. I have minor back issues that I have been dealing with for a long time, that has subsided from my recent Purple Mattress nights. The setup of the Foundation and Mattress were really easy and quick. I also have to mention the Bamboo Sheets that are amazing. Thank You SO much for the Amazing Products.

I purchased a twin xl purple mattress and used it for 2 years in a dorm room, and when I graduated I knew there was no other mattress for me. I LOVE my purple! It's always comforting in all the right places without feeling saggy or unsupportive even with a partner sleeping next to me. The only thing I don't love is the weight, it makes putting sheets on a little difficult but nothing that would keep me from recommending the mattress!

The mattress gives great support but I almost feel too much pressure against my ribs, shoulders, and hips. I think 1" more on the grid would make the mattress perfect but overall I'm satisfied and have already shown off the new bed to all my friends. It's just BARELY too stiff for my personal preference.

We have had our king mattress now for almost two months and I am very pleased with the comfort it has provided for us. We were waking up with back aches with our old mattress and I must say we don't seem to complain anymore of back pain caused by a mattress. I would recommend it and I have to friends and family. The price was right too. Only complaint was that it is very heavy...was hard to get onto the bed...but hopefully we will never have to turn or rotate it. Hoping it lasts us for many years to come! We love our Purple Mattress. We had just bought a new king size mattress for our home bed 6 mos ago, however we wanted to try out the Purple mattress. So we bought one for our RV and we love it. Slept on it for the first time this weekend and it was wonderful!! We will certainly think about buying one for our home bed soon.
