I was excited to get the Purple but it was not comfortable for myself or my husband (we both have back problems). We ended up trying it for 60+ nights and still weren't satisfied so decided to return it. The return process was easy and the customer service was fantastic.

I am giving 5 stars for the customer Service. The mattress itself is good, but not great. My first one was a complete defect and was thinner than advertised and uneven and sloping heavily on the side. When I sent pictures of the mattress I was blown away at how quick and efficient the process was. I was immediately sent a replacement and it was exactly as shown on the website and much better. I've learned a actually need a little firmer mattress, but i still love it.

My first experience with a Purple product was a seat pad for my truck, I was an open road trucker. Before the pad I was in agony after I could easily drive 700 miles. I decided to try the mattress at home because I had changed jobs and needed a new mattress. I am still in the trial period but I fall asleep immediately and don't wake up with a sore back. The mattress doesn't feel super luxurious but the support is perfect all night long.

I purchased this bed to try and relieve some of my wife back pains, I was and still am excited about the product and enjoyed the trial period. Unfortunately it did little to relieve my wife pain which is why we are moving on to find a more suitable alternative for her issue. I'm and advocate for your products and love the seat cushion and have recommended it to friends and colleagues. Until we meet again Purple. -Matt G

When we first got it, I was a little concerned. My wife and I are both pretty good-sized people and I didn't think this mattress would be able to take it. The first couple of nights were definitely an adjustment period, but now I realize that was because our backs were so messed up with our other mattress. We have been sleeping on the Purple bed for about two months now and we love it! We had to stay at a hotel for a couple of nights recently and we both said the same thing: "This sure ain't our Purple bed." Thanks Purple for giving us a great night's sleep again!

I thought it was going to be more comfortable than it was. it was a quality product. But for people who are used to pillow top or memory foam, it felt like we were sleeping on a rock for about 3 weeks. After 3 weeks we had to break down and purchase a really expensive thick pillow topper for our bed, just so we could get a good nights rest. We have a lot of the Purple products and have loved all of them, so we were a little disappointed in the bed. Hopefully it will soften over time.

It took a long time to get to us, about 3 weeks to a month. When we finally got it and got it set up, we noticed that on the bpttom part of the bed frame, it was welded backwards! Hard to explain but because it was welded backwards, the one leg wouldnt stay standing up. Meaning we use it because when any weight was put on the bedframe (such as the mattress), one side of the bed frame would totally collapse. So we contacted purple and they asked us to email pictures and then theyd send us a new one. So we did and now we have to wait yet another month for the new bed frame. I just dont get how you could actually mess up the actually constructing of your bed frame like that. Unreal. The mattress itself is wonderful. There really is no pressure on any specific part of your body. Pressure is distributed evenly throughout the body. Its great. But we cant really use it or enjoy it until this frame issue gets fixed. I hope the new one getting shipped is made right! Customers, just be careful and watch out for mistakes like this. Apparently it is possible for the company to make mistakes like welding things backwards, messing up the frame permanently. It was a huge waste of time and money.

I wanted to take a moment to compliment the team at Purple. My wife and I ordered a Queen size Purple mattress to replace our old King spring mattress. Once the Purple mattress was delivered, we quickly realized that even though it was crazy comfortable, we needed the size of a King to accomodate both of us, plus our 90 pound old english bulldog that refuses to sleep on the floor. I thought it would be a nightmare to actually utilize the 100 day trial period to return our Queen and purchase a King Purple mattress. NOPE!! They were FANTASTIC! They made everything completely seamless. Not only was it easy to return the Queen to buy a King; we were thrilled to find out that Purple didn't even want the Queen back. We were told we could donate (You read that right, DONATE) the mattress to the charity of our choice for a full refund on the Queen! So in the end, we have a King size Purple mattress that we (and our bulldog, Brutus) love, and someone in need of a blessing got a brand new Queen size Purple matress that i'm sure they will love. This is what it looks like when companies pay it forward! We need more companies out there that do business this way. My wife and I wish Purple nothing but success in the future! Oh... And the mattress is literally the most comfortable thing we've ever slept on. We don't even refer to it as going to bed anymore. I think Purple in general is a greap company and the whole process was stellar unfortunetly their mattress is just not right for me and thus I gave it a one star review. The mattress does seem of good quality and its nice and cool to the touch. However after a few hours of sleep i would wake up in lower back pain. I'm a stomach sleep and thus it was not providing enough support at my hips giving me U shape posture as a slept. I would wake up in pain. However I will admit I was sleeping 5-6 hours straight so it was good enough for my body to keep sleeping up until my muscles couldnt take the stretch.

Never pictured the day when I would buy a mattress sight unseen online, not having laid on it in a store. I have always hated the way other "foam" mattresses felt, to constrictive and hot. The purple mattress does what is supposed to support without pressure points, and It sleeps cool. It felt different when we first laid on it; nothing out there like it. We love it and feel we found a solution for our prior nights of poor sleep. I would like to see the prices come down some so we could outfit more bedrooms in the house. Thanks purple!
