First time buyer. Owned for about a month now and haven't had any issues at all. The first night I woke up sore but I think that was just my body trying to adjust to the new comfort level which it wasn't used to. Every night after has been pretty awesome as I fall asleep faster then I ever have.

I have slept on a Tempur-Pedic mattress for 15 years. It was the best money I ever spent on a mattress the first 10 years. The last 5 years it was just not the same as early on. I would wake up every morning with back pain. I decided to try the Purple Mattress because of a recommendation from a friend. It has been a very good choice so far. I wake up everyday with no back pain since getting it.

I have Degenerative Disc (lumbar region) and fibromyalgia. I had gone through three mattresses in a year, before I found Purple, I needed half of a king size bed, because my husband is fine with his. Half of a king is a TwinXL. First night I slept on it, I thought I was going to cry over the relief in back pain. Due to two different pain conditions, finding the perfect combination of support for the my back and still be soft enough to avoid the pain of firm mattress setting off fibromyalgia's trigger points. I loved the mattress immediately, however, after a week, I did add a two inch memory foam topper to it. Spending a year looking for a mattress that I can actually say I enjoy resting/sleeping in it, is over. Even adding in the cost of the memory foam, the price of this mattress/foam combo purchase has been worth every cent! If you are looking for super firm, I would recommend the one named after the friendly ghost. If you want great customer service, excellent price and morning after morning of waking up without feeling like your bed beat you up, GO Purple!!!

For most of my life, I have hated going to sleep because I would rather do other things with the time. My previous mattress amplified that hatred of sleep. Now, with the Purple Mattress, once in bed, getting to sleep is less of a fight and more of an unwinding of my mind. Sleep isn't as much of an enemy. The mattress has also widen my ability to fall asleep in almost any position now.

I like the bed, but wish I was told more about how you need sheets to keep your warranty on the bed and the cover that came with it. I like sleeping on the Purple cover, but I had to cover it up with other products. I order the purple sheets, but need wait another 6 weeks for the purple sheets to be shipped. Crazy wait time. Their return policy on some of these items blow my mine too. I was happy that they let me return the mattress protector, but the return process was like pulling teeth.

This bed is super comfortable. It's the perfect balance of firmness and softness. Sometimes I don't even use a pillow because the mattress is just as comfortable on my neck. This was my first mattress purchase and all my friends recommended purple. I'm very pleased to recommend to others to choose purple as well. It's worth the investment to have a really comfortable bed and get better sleep.

The delivery of the mattress was very bad, over two weeks from the date I ordered & paid for it over the internet. Then I had to threaten you, that if I didn't have it in my possession by a certain date, I would cancel, and ask for a complete refund. The day that it arrived I received no notification that they were delivering it. I walked out the back door and saw that the deliver person dropped it off next to the side of the house about 30' from my back door. So, my wife, age 82 and I, age 84 managed to drag it to the back steps, up the three concrete steps and into the house. We tried getting it up the 14 steps to the 2nd floor to our bedroom but couldn't make it. So, we laid it on the stairway awaiting some help from some stronger people, which happened the next day. How does it sleep? Well, I like it very much because it gives good firm support to the body when sleeping on your back or side. The bed does not shake, move or bounce when another person enters or if one sits on the side or end of the bed. I noticed that my back does not hurt as much as when I sleep on the other traditional style mattress. My hope is that it gives good service to us for the promised 10 year's life.

I am so thankful I stumbled upon a Purple video before I dropped 3x's what my Purple cost on a memory foam. I have owned my Original Purple for 17 months and can not remember having back pain once. Even though a twin pregnancy at 41. Instead of being in pain and just miserable for 6 months of my pregnancy like I had been with EVERY other pregnancy. I found myself watching the clock at quitting time, driving straight home, do not pass go, straight home, changing my clothes and crawling into my Purple bed. Aside from being at work, you would have thought I was on bed rest, seriously! It was the ONLY time I was comfortable. Yes your bed is always more comfy than an office chair or your couch. But my last mattress had been through 10 years of pregnancy's and there was never a time I was excited to go lay in bed. No matter how much my back was on fire and a little person was trying to kick through my torso did I look forward to laying down. With this last pregnancy of twins, at a 'high risk' age (blah I am NOT old)., and also during the 3 weeks I made it feeding them with these watermelons, my girls and I lived in my Purple bed. 0 back pain. Not one time. Delivery pain yes, but not even my Purple could fix that. Although I did throw my Purple seat cushion in my van and I must say, removed all the pressure allowing a comfortable drive, all things considered. Oh and while I am sure my doctor would not want to hear, I am a stomach sleeper. So not full stomach, but that area between stomach and side, ya I was able to sleep in that position MUCH longer that before Purple. No pressure, everyone was comfy! Saved myself $3500-$5000 by not buying a top of the line memory foam mattress, saved another like $6,000 on not having surgery, AND whatever a babysitter would have cost while I was recovering and hubby was at work. So YES B.Y.E. FALICIA! If you are going to buy a mattress anyway, you will be hard pressed to find an upper level quality at this price. What exactly will you lose by giving it a try? My advice is give it 45 nights, it took that long before I noticed my back pain was completely gone. If you don't find it as amazing as I do, look into non-profits in your area. Especially ones that help with furniture. Then call Purple to pick it up and tell them they can donate it to your preselected charity. That's where it will end up anyway, may as well have a say in where it goes! ....in Midwest, Because People Matter, Inc. We lost our mattress program with Temper Pedic 2 years ago. They reduced the amount of mattresses they donate each year. Our community partners have struggled to try to find an alternative solution as many other organization's have I would imagine. But, you're going to love it so we will not hold our breath waiting for you to return it!

After having back pain for years, I decided to finally get a better mattress. Since the first night I slept on the purple mattress, I have had no back pain. I would highly recommend this to anyone, and the ability to pay through Affirm made it possible for me to buy it. Thanks!

Sleep is Great at Home with my Purple Bed. I am a Firemen and I do not sleep well at the Fire House.. So I sometimes can't wait to go Home and get a Nap or a Good Nights Sleep..I just bought the purple Duve 2 weeks ago but due to the Corona Virus I have not been Home for the last 2weeks to enjoy it,can't wait.
