The grid concept does not provide enough support for lower back pain. My husband and I both have lower back pain (disc problems and arthritis) and we were hopeful that the Purple mattress would be good for us and minimize our pain. We ordered the most expensive, top of the line mattress because we believed the grid system, with it's minimal pressure points, would help us. Unfortunately, our lower back pain has increased gradually over the 4 months we have had the mattress. Because it was a gradual increase in pain, we did not realize at our 100 day trial period deadline that this is not the mattress for us. We realized it at 150 days and Purple will not give us a refund. BEWARE they will not work with you if you pass the trial period, so if you get this mattress and have ANY doubt about it at 100 days, RETURN IT!

I purchased the queen size purple mattress March 7th this year. It came in a week later. I did have relieved back pain within the first week. However the mattress has already left an impression on the side I sleep on. Tonight, I went and ahead and rotated the bed. Not seeing this mattress lasting too much longer if it has already left a impression in the 1st month of use

My husband and I love our Purple Mattress. We have had it less than one month but are able to fall asleep so much faster, and stay sleeping soundly all night. Its much better than the foam mattress that was only a few years old. We got the sheet set (which is absolutely amazing and I will never buy another brand again) and the mattress protector. This is one of the best choices we have made, just wish we bought it sooner.

My husband and I have different sleep needs, but both love the Purple Mattress. It gives, but is not too soft or unstable when one of is turns or moves (or our large dog joins:). After six weeks of use, I can attest that we would definitely purchase again.

We first bought a Purple mattress for our teenage son, as a birthday gift. He is a competitive swimmer and we wanted him to get the most restful sleep possible. He loves it. A few months later, we bought one as a treat to ourselves. Both my husband an I have minor back issues, and we have had the mattress now for over a month with absolutely no pain while we sleep. I wake up rested every morning! The grid is comfortable and really conforms to each body type. We are considering these mattresses for our other two boys, as well! I would recommend this to anyone who has back problems, trouble sleeping, or anyone who has temperature-regulation issues at night.

We've had our purple mattress for about a month now and we absolutely love it! It took a little adjusting for the first week, but I immediately loved how it cradled my hips and felt like my body was actually in line! Both my husband and I sleep so much better (which is especially important for me since I'm 7 months pregnant). Thank you Purple!!

As the title suggests, I feel that this bed was the best choice made so far in my youth. I never owned a bed before. I slept on air and spring mattresses which made me a sad panda every night. The moment I laid on to my purple mattress, I fell deeply in love. A sense of accomplishment welled up inside me that I never felt before. I knew from then on, I would never have a sleepless night again. Two months later, this hold true. Thank you so very much to the creators of this masterpiece. You changed my life for the better! The regular purple is the best mattress I've come across. I had a memory foam bed and was waking up every night sweating or aching from lack of air flow and support. This bed was worth every penny. I weigh 175 pounds and I just feel my hips and shoulders being taken care of every time I lay down. Couldn't recommend this bed enough.

This has been the best mattress ive ever purchased ...I had terrible hip and lower back pain due to my last bed, So i only had the bed for 3 days and all my pain went away its honestly the best bed in the world ITs not to firm and not to soft ....Ive been recommending this bed to everyone....

I purchased the Purple mattress with great expectations. I was replacing an older sleep number mattress which was very uncomfortable. I found the Purple Mattress to be much too hard. The top layer isn't thick enough and my body sank into the hard under layer. Customer service was terrific and took care of removing the mattress and gave me a fast refund.
