I have slept on a Pillow Top, a Futon, and an Air Mattress, but this bed is by far the most comfortable I have ever had. It has even helped me with my chronic back pain. It takes a little while to get used to but once you do, it's like sleeping on a cloud.

I have always struggled to sleep on conventional mattresses and I've had insomnia for years. I thought I'd give the purple mattress a try and I'm so glad I did. I love, love, love the way it conforms to my body and gives me great soft support. I'm also happy I got the thicker mattress because I'm not one who needs or prefers a firmer mattress. I like soft and supportive. The downside, if there is one, is that it's heavy. I can't lift it myself and I struggle slightly when I'm tucking under blankets or a comforter. However, that's a minor inconvenience compared to the sleep I'm getting each night!

Good bed but for some reason I expected more. I guess the hype isn't all it's lived up to be. Yeah I sleep so much better at night but the bed isn't as soft as I was anticipating and you can't really get by without a box spring underneath it. This bed is an upgrade but not top of the line. I'm super please with the quality for what we paid though, I really feel like you can't find a cheaper bed without sacrificing quality.

Upgraded from the Purple to the Purple Plus. No noticeable improvement in how the mattress does anything for our sleep. We are sleeping the same if not a little worse since getting it. Laying on my back I still feel the gap between my lower back and the mattress. Nothing special about this one unfortunately. Bummer to have upgraded and not gotten anything better than what we had.

Have had the purple system (yes system: mattress, sheets, pillow, and PowerBase) for a month now; and I'm in love! There are downsides of course, like with just about anything, but the upsides are numerous! I sleep split between either side or back, and this mattress is perfect for both! Pillow: super comfortable when laying on back/watching tv. Though can be a bit firm when sleeping on side. 8/10 Sheets: just get them, you'll never look back! 20/10 Mattress: no more joint or back pain, soft yet firm! Can get warm on hot nights, but super cool by all regards. 9/10 PowerBase: dream come true! You will need help setting it up. The lighting is white (still wish it was purple). The massage feature is great and super strong! (I don't use it often as it literally shacks my walls even on the lowest setting) 10/10

I've woken up in pain every day the last 4 years. Bought 2 brand new $1000+ mattresses and could not manage the pain I was in. I've had purple for 3 weeks now and it's been such a relief. Pain is there but so much more bareable. I feel like I'm healing now. Slept on my bad hip for the first time in 2 years. Best part is I bought the platform too and it fit perfectly inside my king bed frame. Def resommend it.

Before buying this bed, I was getting an average of 5-6 hours of broken sleep. Waking up with hip and lower back pain. The very fist night on the Purple Matress, I slept a complete 9 hours!! Woke up feeling like a million bucks! Every night from then on out has been about the same. I now get anywhere between 8-13 hours of sleep. Depending on my work schedule of course. I am completely happy that my husband and I decided to try this AMAZING bed!! Totally worth every single penny!!!

Okay, so we're not that old, 66 and 67 but we've enjoyed beating our bodies up with trail running, tennis, mountain biking, hiking and back country skiing. Happily we still do all that even with knee replacements, chronic hip pain, and back issues. Not to mention elbows, collar bones and feet that ache. Our old Serta Pillow Top put my legs to sleep with tingling and numbness. Not the Purple! While I still have hip pain, I don't do the rotisserie sleep all night long on Purple. Far, far less disturbed sleep. We were skeptical and hopeful that your mattress would help and it has exceeded our hopes allowing for good rest and good dreams! No more tingly limbs, no more noticing when one or the other of us gets out of bed or flips over onto the less painful hip. And, our two sleep more peacefully, too. Thank you Purple.

My husband and I have been sleeping on the Purple for over a month now, and we are very pleased with it. I used to think that I loved our old memory foam mattress, but now I realize how much I tossed and turned on that mattress, and how hot I was sleeping because of it. On the Purple I sleep solid and don't toss and turn or wake up multiple times throughout the night, I also don't wake up in a sweat like I used to on my old mattress. My husband who used to constantly complain of shoulder pain, hasn't complained in weeks. As a bonus, my husband says I'm not snoring as bad anymore...I'm guessing it's because my body is properly aligned. I'll say it took a few nights to get used to the bed as it was more firm than our previous one, and it's less comfortable when you first get in than our previous mattress but again, the better sleep makes the adjustment period worth it, and isn't a better sleep what it's all about?

I purchased a purple mattress and bed frame October 2018 and is been hurting my back for a while thinking it was the base since the one I purchased with purple company is not very sturdy and squeaking i moved the bed to a different base but my back still hurts too much at the beginning the mattress was perfect but with time there is a big difference in support.
