I have scoliosis and have a difficult time getting comfortable, after reading the reviews I decided to give the purple mattress a try. Right out of the box it was incredibly comfortable and after sleeping on it I knew I had to buy one for my daughter who also has scoliosis!

I love my mattress. Me and my wife previously had a hybrid mattress (partial spring and memory foam) that we liked , but moved and were in the market for a new one. A coworker suggested looking at Purple, and are glad we did. For a king size, you're getting high quality for a low price. You can find similar priced kings, but with no comparison for the quality and comfort. I sleep mostly on my stomach and side, where my wife sleeps on her side and back. Both of us love our sleep. It used to take me almost an hour to fall asleep. Now it takes 20 minutes. My wife is asleep in 15 minutes. We stay asleep without interruption longer too. Any aches or pains I used to get from sleeping have melted away. For us it took only a couple nights to get used to and are now happier than ever with our sleeping situation. Sleeping is 1/3 of your life and I would definitely recommend Purple to anyone looking for a better mattress.

I have been on a temperpedic, which the wife bought and loved. I have been having back pain every morning getting out of bed, for years. I thought it was the mattress being too soft. I talked her into the Purple. I was skeptical. I have had it for about 3 weeks now. I honestly felt back pain relief on the second night of owning and using the Purple. It really does give you better sleep and all that science-y, stuff they talk about. Even the wife says I cannot return it! Seriously changed my life. I wake up pain free every morning with literally NO BACK PAIN. Would and have been recommending to friends and family

I got my King-sized Purple mattress as a replacement/upgrade for my saggy Queen-sized mattress. My previous mattress had been causing me some minor back pain every morning for a while. When I first tried the Purple mattress, before I put sheets on it, I thought it felt very supportive but gave way in pressure points unlike I've felt in mattresses before, which I liked a lot. I put my sheets on and slept on the bed mattress a few nights, but was somewhat disappointed. The Purple mattress seemed too firm and my back still hurt, but differently (more in my lower back than mid-back like it had been before). I removed a portion of the sheets and realized that it was way different and seemed much better without. I looked into it and found that Purple recommends stretchy fitted sheets and sheet protectors to fully utilize the technology, but a loose sheets was a somewhat-adequate substitute. After a couple weeks my back didn't hurt any more (now I think my back was slowly getting better), but I feel like I'm still not getting the full value of the mattress without the stretchy fitted sheet and stretchy mattress protector. I would have got them right when I realized that might be the problem, but I didn't want to invest in the significantly more expensive stretchy setup before I knew if I was sold on the Purple mattress. I like the mattress now and am reluctantly-willing to buy the sheets, but I do wish the stretchy-sheet "suggestion" (I'd lean more toward requirement) had been made more clear prior to purchase. Plan on the extra expense of stretchy stuff and you'll not be disappointed.

The mattress started out great, it was a joy to sleep on for the first 8-10 months, bought new Sept. 26th, 2017. But now it's like sleeping in a trough. All the areas around where your body is laying are still firm, but when you're laying in the area you sleep, it feels degraded, broken down somehow. It's nothing you can really see, and not really measurable, as far as just looking at it. But the sleep has gotten to the point that by the time we wake up, both of us, our backs just ache. And sometimes you just lay there, trying to make yourself comfortable, all night. NOT what we were sold on, and NOT what we expected, based upon the reviews. We went from super happy with our purchase, to super disappointed, in just over 24 months.

I have never purchased a bed before. I have always had hand me downs. This bed caught my eye with the egg test and never disappointed. Customer service was fantastic. Bed itself, firm but giving. Scale of 1-10 on firmness I give it a 6.5. The give is amazing. I'm a stomach sleeper and I am sleeping much cooler and have less awake moments. IN LOVE.

My husband hates our Purple mattress because he sleeps so soundly he can no longer jump out of bed at 3:30AM to go to the gym. :-) We've had it about 2 months. I sometimes wake up in the same position I fell asleep in. So comfortable and supportive. We have recommended Purple to friends.

I had to convince my husband that we needed a new mattress because our pillow top one had turned into a lumpy mess. I heard rave reviews from friend about Purple so we gave it a try. I think it was night 3 when I heard the words 'You were right" from my husband. WE LOVE IT! So comfortable and the biggest difference is that it breathes - my husband actually got cold and had to use covers which never happens. Easy to order, shipped to our front door, simple set up and a happy husband :)

I dont review things. Im the type of guy the always checks the reviews but never leaves one. That being said, buying a purple mattress has been one of the best investments i have ever made. I am very stingy with how i spend my money and to be honest this mattress was more money than i wanted to spend, but i would do it again in a heartbeat. It sounds corny but every night is the best night of sleep i have ever had. I used to struggle to fall asleep and i would toss and turn and wake up multiple times throughout the night. Since using the purple mattress i have fallen asleep almost instantly and it is rare that i wake up before my alarm goes off. If you are sceptical about this product i hope this review alleviates some of your concern. I would buy this bed again and again.

Ordering went very smoothly and the mattress and sheets all arrived as communicated. The packaging is attractive and effective!! The sheets and the mattress are absolutely gorgeous. This company really has the right idea when it comes to presentation and aesthetics, that and their high aim for quality. Kudos!! For my wife and I, we love the bed. However, we both have a similar, singular issue, and that is we sometimes get caught up in the sheets, and the wool pad (not their product) easily bunches underneath. I particularly need cool and absorbing because I (a man) have frequent night sweats, so a wool pad does extremely well for me. Without the pad, I lay in a pool even in pajamas. We have narrowed it down to the top layer. We think it gives just a little too much perhaps. We will add straps to the wool pad to help it stay in place. The mattress arrived before the sheets so we initially used an older "cheaper" cotton set of sheets that pulled taut with little give. When compared to the sheets we purchased from Purple as well as another set of cotton jersey sheets, this "cheaper" set actually did better in that the sheets didn't bunch or gather underneath us in the give of the first layer. Hopefully this makes sense to folks. It has been difficult to get used to, and we have committed to finding the right set up BECAUSE this mattress is indeed wonderful.
